The 2012 Americas Rugby Championship season was the third season of the Americas Rugby Championship. It took place between 12 and 20 October 2012 in Langford, British Columbia. [1] The tournament featured the same teams as in the 2010 version, Argentina Jaguars, Canada Selects, USA Selects, with the exception of Uruguay who replaced Tonga A. The Argentina Jaguars won the tournament going undefeated in three matches. [2] [3]

The United States men's national rugby union team, represents United States in men's international rugby union, nicknamed the Eagles it is controlled by USA Rugby. USA Rugby is a member of Rugby Americas North, one of six regional governing bodies under World Rugby. Until rugby returned to Olympic competition, with sevens at the 2016 Rio Games, the United States was the reigning Olympic rugby champion, having defeated the one other competitor in 1920 and the two other competitors at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
The Canada national rugby union team represents Canada in men's international rugby union and it is governed by Rugby Canada, and play in red and white. Canada is classified by World Rugby as a tier two rugby nation. Canada competes in competitions such as the Americas Rugby Championship and the Rugby World Cup.
The Uruguay national rugby union team represents Uruguay in men's international rugby union nicknamed Los Teros, is governed by the Unión de Rugby del Uruguay. One of the older test sides in the world, Uruguay has qualified four times for the Rugby World Cup, in 1999, 2003, 2015 and most recently 2019. As of 10 June 2019 they are ranked 17th in the world, and are ranked 3rd in the Americas region, behind rivals Argentina and the United States.
Rugby union in the United States is the fastest growing sport in the nation. Rugby union at the youth, high school, college, amateur club, professional, and international levels is governed by USA Rugby. There are over 125,000 players registered with USA Rugby as of 2016. Over 2,500 rugby clubs exist around the country, including those of whom are part of college rugby. Professional club competition exists as Major League Rugby since 2017.
The Chile national rugby union team represents Chile in men's international rugby union competitions, nicknamed Los Cóndores, plays in red jerseys and blue shorts, and it's organised by the Chilean Rugby Federation. As of 2019, Chile has not qualified for a Rugby World Cup.
Louis Stanfill is an American rugby union player who currently plays for San Diego Legion and for the in the Major League Rugby competition. Stanfill previously played for the United States national team. Stanfill plays as a back row player at flanker or No. 8, and can also play lock.
The Americas Rugby Championship, often informally called the Americas' Six Nations, is an annual international rugby tournament between six North and South American nations: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, the United States and Uruguay. Originally competed by various interlocking combinations of club, second-tier national and top national sides, the current international tournament has the top national sides competing. The current format provides these top national teams with additional test matches to be counted in the World Rugby Rankings.

The Canadian Rugby Championship (CRC) was a Canadian amateur rugby union competition, partially funded by the World Rugby. It was the highest level of men's domestic rugby in Canada. Four representative teams from regions across Canada competed for the MacTier Cup. The CRC was started in 2009 by Rugby Canada and was held annually from August to September. Rugby Canada also held CRC tournaments for under-19 men, under-20 women, and senior women.

The tournament featured the same teams as in the 2012 version, Argentina Jaguars, Canada Selects, USA Selects, and Uruguay. Uruguay qualified by placing second, behind Argentina, at the 2013 edition of the South American Rugby Championship.
Cameron Dolan is an American rugby union player who normally plays at the Number 8 position. He currently plays professionally for the NOLA Gold in Major League Rugby (MLR). Dolan is one of few Americans to have played rugby outside the United States, at professional level.
The USA Selects is the second national rugby team for the United States, usually used for uncapped matches and domestic club sides. The primary national team is known as the USA Eagles or the United States national rugby union team.
Raymond "Ray" Barkwill is a retired Canadian rugby union player who played for a number of teams before ending his career at Seattle Seawolves of Major League Rugby where he helped win the inaugural title including scoring a try in the final. Qualifying for the 2019 Rugby World Cup for the Americas began in March 2016, where across 3 years, 20 teams competed for two direct qualification spots into the final tournament, and one spot in the Repechage tournament. For qualification purposes, the two Americas regions Rugby Americas North and Sudamérica Rugby formed the Americas region to compete for the two Americas berths in the World Cup.

The 2017 Americas Rugby Championship was the second series of the Americas Rugby Championship, which is the top elite tournament for the Americas nations. It was contested by Argentina XV, Canada, United States, Uruguay, Brazil, and Chile. All matches were full international test matches with caps awarded, except those involving Argentina XV.

The 2014 Americas Rugby Championship season was the fifth season of the Americas Rugby Championship. It took place between 11 and 19 October 2014 in Langford, British Columbia. The tournament featured the same teams as in the 2013 version: Argentina Jaguars, Canada Selects, USA Selects, and Uruguay. The Argentina Jaguars won the tournament for a fifth straight time, once again going undefeated in three matches.
