The 2012 Curl Atlantic Championship was held from September 14 to 17 at the Tantramar Civic Centre in Sackville, New Brunswick. [1] [2] This was the second time the event was held, and is designed to give top Atlantic curling teams the opportunity to play on arena ice. The winning teams of Eddie MacKenzie and Stacie Devereaux each took home CAD$3,000.

The 2010 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, was held between March 6 until March 14, 2010 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Halifax Metro Centre. It marked the sixth time the Brier had been to Halifax, and the second time in eight years, having previously hosted the 2003 Nokia Brier.

The 2011 Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Manitoba's women's provincial curling championship, was held January 26–30 in Altona, Manitoba at the Sunflower Gardens Arena. The winning Cathy Overton-Clapham team represented Manitoba at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The team went 4-7 in round robin play.

The 2011 Safeway Championship was held February 9–13, 2011 at the Sun Gro Centre in Beausejour. The winning team of Jeff Stoughton would represent Manitoba at the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario.

The 2011 United States Women's Curling Championship took place on February 12–19 at the Scheels Arena in Fargo, North Dakota. It was held in conjunction with the 2011 United States Men's Curling Championship. After winning the final over the Allison Pottinger rink, the Patti Lank rink represented the United States at the 2011 World Championships at Esbjerg, Denmark, finishing in 7th place with a 4–5 win–loss record.

The 2012 CIS/CCA Curling Championships were held from March 14 to 18 at the Welland Curling Club in Welland, Ontario. The host university of the event was Brock University, located in nearby St. Catharines. The winners of the event, the teams from the University of Alberta and from Wilfrid Laurier University skipped by Brendan Bottcher and Laura Crocker, respectively, will go on to represent Canada at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Trentino, Italy.

The 2012 Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Manitoba's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 25 to 29 at the Portage Credit Union Centre in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winning team of Jennifer Jones, Kaitlyn Lawes, Jill Officer and Dawn Askin represented Manitoba at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, where they finished round robin with a 9–2 record, which was enough to finish 1st place and clinch a spot in the playoffs. Jones would lose both the 1–2 game and the semi-final before winning the bronze medal game over Quebec.

The 2011 Curl Atlantic Championship was held from September 23 to 26 at the Tantramar Civic Centre in Sackville, New Brunswick. This was the first edition of the Curl Atlantic Championship. The goal of this event was to better prepare high performance Atlantic curling teams for the national and international stage. The winning men's team, skipped by James Grattan, will participate in the Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, while the winning women's team, skipped by Suzanne Birt, will participate in the International Bernese Ladies Cup in Bern, Switzerland.

The 2012 Sun Life Financial Players' Championship was held from April 17 to 22 at the Consolidated Credit Union Place in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. It was the last Grand Slam event of the 2011–12 curling season and the twentieth time the tournament has been held. The purse is CAD$100,000 for both the men's and women's tournaments, and the winner of each tournament will receive CAD$18,000.

The 2013 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials was held from March 14 to 17 at the Leduc Recreation Centre and the Leduc Curling Club in Leduc, Alberta. The winning team of the trials will represent Canada at the 2013 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. It is the first ever Canadian Mixed Doubles championship. Previously, two players from the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship winning team were selected to play at the World Mixed Doubles championship.

The 2013 National was held from January 23 to 27 at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. It was the third men's Grand Slam event of the 2012–13 curling season. The purse for the event was CAD$100,000. In the final, Jeff Stoughton defeated a struggling Mike McEwen with a score of 8–2 in six ends.

It was the fourth men's and fifth women's Grand Slam event of the 2012–13 curling season. The event was held in a round robin format.

The 2020 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held from January 27 to February 1 at the Ed Lumley Arena in Cornwall, Ontario. The winning Rachel Homan rink represented Ontario at the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and lost the gold medal final to Manitoba. The event was held in conjunction with the 2020 Ontario Tankard, the men's provincial championship.

The 2020 Ontario Tankard, the provincial men's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held from January 28 to February 2 at the Ed Lumley Arena in Cornwall, Ontario. The winning John Epping rink represented Ontario at the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston, Ontario. The event was held in conjunction with the 2020 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the women's provincial championship.

The 2022 Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts presented by Bayer, the provincial women's curling championship for Manitoba, was held from December 15 to 19, 2021 at the Carberry Plains Community Centre in Carberry, Manitoba. The winning Mackenzie Zacharias team represented Manitoba at the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
