The 2010 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, was held between March 6 until March 14, 2010 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Halifax Metro Centre. It marked the sixth time the Brier had been to Halifax, and the second time in eight years, having previously hosted the 2003 Nokia Brier.

The winning team of Nancy McConnery represented Nova Scotia at the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, where they finished round robin with a 1-10 record.
The 2010 Safeway Championship was held February 10–14, 2010 at the T.G. Smith Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba. The winner went on to represent Manitoba at the 2010 Tim Hortons Brier in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The 2011 Nova Scotia Scotties Tournament of Hearts was held January 25–30 at the Glooscap Curling Club in Kentville, Nova Scotia. The winning team of Heather Smith-Dacey represented Nova Scotia at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. They finished round robin play with a record of 7-4, winning a tiebreaker against British Columbia. The team lost the 3-4 page playoff game against Ontario, but rebounded by winning the Bronze Medal Game against the same team from Ontario.
The 2011 Nova Scotia Men's Molson Provincial Championship was held February 1–6 at the Dartmouth Curling Club in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The winning team of Shawn Adams represented Nova Scotia at the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario.
The 2012 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, was held from March 3 to March 11 at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This Brier marked the sixth time that Saskatoon hosted the Brier; the last time that the Brier was hosted in Saskatoon was in 2004. The winner of the Brier, Glenn Howard, will represent Canada at the 2012 Capital One World Men's Curling Championship in Basel, Switzerland.
The 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from February 4 to 12 at the Strathcona Paper Centre and the Napanee & District Curling Club in Napanee, Ontario. The winners, the Albertan teams skipped by Brendan Bottcher and Jocelyn Peterman, represented Canada at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Östersund, Sweden.
The 2012 Nova Scotia Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Nova Scotia's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 25 to 29 at the CFB Halifax Curling Club in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The winning team of Heather Smith-Dacey, represented Nova Scotia at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, where they finished with a 4-7 record.
The 2013 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from January 31 to February 10 at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park and at the Oilsands Curling Club in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Alberta last hosted the junior championships in Calgary in 2011. The winners will represent Canada at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships in Sochi, Russia.
The 2013 Molson Coors Tankard, the Nova Scotia men's provincial curling championship, was held from February 6 to 10 at the Truro Curling Club in Truro, Nova Scotia. The winning team of Paul Flemming represented Nova Scotia at the 2013 Tim Hortons Brier in Edmonton, Alberta.
The 2014 Scotties Tournament of Hearts was held from February 1 to 9 at the Maurice Richard Arena in Montreal, Quebec. The defending champion Rachel Homan rink won their second straight title, with Homan becoming the youngest skip to ever win back-to-back championships. The team went undefeated throughout the tournament, with the team never even being forced to throw their final rock in any of their games.

The winning Mary-Anne Arsenault rink represented Nova Scotia at the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and finished with a 4–4 record. The event was held in conjunction with the 2020 Deloitte Tankard, the provincial men's curling championship.

The 2022 Nova Scotia Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Nova Scotia, was held from December 8 to 11, 2021 at the Berwick Curling Club in Berwick, Nova Scotia. The winning Christina Black team will represent Nova Scotia at the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The 2022 New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships was held from March 26 to April 1 at the Stratford Rotary Complex in Stratford, Ontario. The winners will represent Canada at the 2023 World Junior Curling Championships.
The 2023 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, will be held from March 3 to 12 at the Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. The winning team will represent Canada at the 2023 World Men's Curling Championship on home soil at TD Place Arena in Ottawa, Ontario.
