2012 CEV European League

The 2012 Women's European Volleyball League was the fourth edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which featured women's national volleyball teams from twelve European countries. A preliminary league round was played from June 1 to June 30, and the final four tournament, which was held at the Czech Republic on July 5–6, 2012.

Contents

During the league round, competing nations were drawn into three pools of four teams, and every team hosted a tournament with three other teams and playing a round-robin system over three days. One standings table was used, combined with all four tournaments. The Pool winners and the best runner up qualified for the final four round, joining the host team. If the final four host team finished first in its league round pool, the best pool runners-up qualified for the final four. [1]

The Czech Republic defeated Bulgaria 3–0 in the final. [2]

The Women's European Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1975 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Turkey, which won its first title at the 2023 tournament.

The 2012 Men's European Volleyball League was the ninth edition of the annual Men's European Volleyball League, which featured men's national volleyball teams from ten European countries. A preliminary league round was played from May 24 to June 24, and the final four tournament, which was held at Ankara, Turkey.

The 2013 Women's European Volleyball League was the fifth edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which featured women's national volleyball teams from eight European countries. A preliminary league round was played from June 13 to July 6, and the final four tournament, which was held in Bulgaria on July 11–12, 2013.

The 2015 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 29th edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. Unlike previous seasons, the tournament had two groups: the Golden League, featuring twelve teams, and the Silver League, featuring eight teams.

The 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 32nd edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, CEV. For the second time, the EuroVolley was held in four countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland. The number of national teams that participated in the event remained to 24.

The European Qualification Tournament for the 2020 Men's Olympic Volleyball Tournament was a volleyball tournament for men's national teams held in Berlin, Germany from 5 to 10 January 2020. Eight teams played in the tournament and the winners France qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 Men's U20 Volleyball European Championship was the 27th edition of the Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. The tournament was held in Brno and Kuřim, Czech Republic from 26 September to 4 October 2020. The top two teams of the tournament qualified for the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship as the CEV representatives. But with runners-up Italy hosting the 2021 U21 World Championship together with Bulgaria, 3rd place Belgium joined the field for the 2021 U21 World Championship as well.

The 2022 Men's U20 Volleyball European Championship is the 28th edition of the Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. The tournament is currently held in Montesilvano and Vasto, Italy from 17 to 25 September 2022. The top two teams of the tournament qualified for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship as the CEV representatives.
