Caroline Wensink (born 4 August 1984 in Enschede, Overijssel) is a volleyball player from the Netherlands, who plays as a middle-blocker. She was a member of the Dutch National Women's Team that won the gold medal at the 2007 FIVB World Grand Prix in Ningbo, PR China.
Caroline won the Best Blocker award in the 2012 European League, as her team ended in 4th place. [1]
Wensink is the cousin of Judith Pietersen, with whom she has also played in the Dutch national team.
Yekaterina Aleksandrovna Gamova is a retired Russian volleyball player. She was a member of the Russian national team that won the gold medals at the 2006 and 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championships, and the silver medal in both the Athens 2004 and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Due to her stature and dominance at the net, she has been hailed as the "Queen of Volleyball". She is 2.02 m tall with EU size 49 feet, making her one of the tallest female athletes in the world. She is also the second highest paid female player in professional volleyball history. Her role was outside hitter/opposite.
The Netherlands women's national volleyball team is the national volleyball team of the Netherlands. It is governed by the Nederlandse Volleybalbond (NeVoBo). Following the 1995 European Championship they hosted in Arnhem and finishing fifth at the 1996 Olympics, the Dutch have had moments of success amidst instability, such as the title of the 2007 FIVB World Grand Prix, and a return to the Olympic Games in 2016, where the Netherlands got to fourth place.
Foluke Atinuke Gunderson is an indoor volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Japanese club Hisamitsu Springs. Born in Canada, she represents the United States internationally. Gunderson won gold with the national team at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix, 2014 World Championship, the Rimini Volleyball Nations League, and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, silver at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Her 2020 Olympics win allowed her to complete the trifecta of winning an Olympic bronze, silver, and gold medal.
Marcin Rafał Możdżonek is a Polish former professional volleyball player, a member of the Poland national team in 2007–2016, a participant in the Olympic Games, the 2014 World Champion, 2009 European Champion, and the 2012 World League winner.
Fabiana Marcelino Claudino is a Brazilian volleyball player who made her debut for the Brazilian national team against Croatia. She captained Brazil to the gold medal at the 2012 Olympics.

She won the 2007–08 CEV Indesit Champions League with Sirio Perugia and also was individually awarded "Most Valuable Player".

Thaísa Daher de Menezes, also known as Thaísa Menezes or Thaísa Daher, is a professional volleyball player from Brazil. She won back-to-back gold medals at the Olympics in 2008 and 2012. She has won numerous Best Spiker and Best Blocker Awards and is often singled out as one of the greatest Brazilian players of all time.
Caroline de Oliveira Saad Gattaz, better known as Carol Gattaz, is a volleyball player from Brazil. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in the Women's tournament, winning a silver medal. Gattaz won the World Grand Prix three times in a row.

She is the daughter of Internacional coach and ex-volleyball player Teun Buijs, who trained her for several clubs in her career. Her mother and older brother were also volleyball players. On March 2, 2023, Buijs married Ana Carolina Da Silva, her long-time partner who plays as a middle blocker of Brazil Women's Volleyball National Team.
