Avital Haim Selinger (born 10 March 1959, in Haifa, Israel) is a volleyball coach and former volleyball player. Selinger played with the Netherlands men's national volleyball team at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, and the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, where he won a silver medal. After taking the command as head coach of the Swiss club Voléro Zürich in April 2015, [2] Selinger guided them to the bronze medal at the 2015 FIVB Club World Championship in Zürich, Switzerland. [3]
Selinger is the son of legendary volleyball coach Arie Selinger. [1]
Volero Zürich is a Swiss volleyball club based in Zürich. It has many teams with the women's team being the most successful and currently playing in the National League A. Since the mid 2000s, the club has also frequently participated in European competitions, most notably the CEV Women's Champions League. In 2018 the elite women's team joined Entente sportive Le Cannet-Rocheville, forming Volero Le Cannet, a team located in Le Cannet, France.

Gunderson won gold with the national team at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix, 2014 World Championship, the Rimini Volleyball Nations League, and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, silver at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Her 2020 Olympics win allowed her to complete the trifecta of winning an Olympic bronze, silver, and gold medal.
