The 2012-13 NBL Indonesia is the third season of NBL Indonesia, a nationwide basketball competition which previously known as Indonesian Basketball League. [1]
Participating teams compete in the regular season using home tournament format. The regular season divided into 5 series, each with different host cities. The top teams in final overall standings will continue to the championship playoffs.
There is also a pre-season warm-up tournament held before the regular season.

Satria Muda Pertamina is an Indonesian professional basketball team currently playing in the Indonesian Basketball League. Based in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, it was Indonesia's representative team to the inaugural Asean Basketball League.
The Indonesia Basketball League is the preeminent men's professional basketball league in Indonesia, founded by Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) in 2003. From 2010 to 2015 it was known as the National Basketball League (NBL) and organised by DBL Indonesia. In 2016, PT Bola Basket Indonesia acquired Starting5 and after that PT Bola Basket Indonesia assigned by PP Perbasi to organised the league.
Stapac Jakarta is one of Indonesia's top basketball clubs. They have won 13 national championships, entering the finals of the top-tier domestic competition started from Kobatama and IBL, since its founding in 1986. Historically, the team has sent about half of its players to represent Indonesia in international basketball.

Ferdinand Damanik is a former Indonesian professional basketball player who plays center. In 2017 he was suspended from the IBL after allegedly being involved in match-fixing. He played college basketball for the De La Salle Green Archers of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

Mountain Gold Timika is a professional basketball team based in Timika, Papua, Indonesia. NSH Mountain Gold Timika is the first team from Papua to join in the IBL Indonesia. Mountain Gold originally signed up as a new team for 2020 season's competition. However, the new team slot was only available for two teams, so Mountain Gold decided to merge with NSH Jakarta. NSH Mountain Gold has 3 native Papuan players, one of which is a player from the Amungme tribe usually known as Amungme people or Suku Amungme where it is one of the tribes in the Jayawijaya Mountains.
Arki Dikania Wisnu is an American-born Indonesian professional basketball player for the Satria Muda Pertamina of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). He played college basketball for the Baruch Bearcats.
The 2017–18 Indonesian Basketball League is the third season of the Starting5 as a promoter of the league. The second foreign player draft was held on October 2, 2017. The regular season will begin on December 8, 2017 and end on February 25, 2018. The All-Star break will be on January 7, 2018 and will be held in Jakarta.
Daniel Timothy Wenas is an Indonesian professional basketball player for the Borneo Hornbills of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). He mainly plays both guard positions and on occasion, also plays the small forward position.
The 2020 Indonesian Basketball League was the fifth season since the re-branding by Starting5. The regular season began on 10 January 2020 and was suspended from 13 March until 23 June 2020, then both remaining series at the regular season in Yogyakarta (UNY) and Malang, as well as the post season in Jakarta have been cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The season originally resumed and concluded directly with the playoffs from 13 until 27 October 2020 at Mahaka Square, Jakarta. Originally, the playoffs were scheduled to begin on 27 March until 12 April 2020, and end with the Finals in 17 and 18 or 19 April 2020. The All-Star game was played on 9 February 2020, at the GOR UNY, Yogyakarta, and was won by IBL All-Stars, 157–155. There was no official Pre-Season held for this season, however 2019 Indonesia President's Cup that was held from 20 November to 24 November 2019 in Solo, Indonesia was treated as the pre-season.
The 2021 Indonesian Basketball League was the sixth season since the re-branding by Starting5. The regular season began on 10 March 2021 and was ended with the Finals in June 2021. In this season there would be no official preseason tournament and all-star games, while throughout the season would be played inside a bubble in Bogor and Jakarta due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, every player, staff, and official must follow the strict health protocols implemented by the organizers.
The 2022 Indonesian Basketball League was the seventh season since the re-branding by Starting5. After successfully implemented the "bubble" system in last year's season, IBL decided to return into the Series format with the supporters are returning into stadium. The season would be held with implementing strict health protocols that recommended by the government. The regular season began on 15 January 2022 and was suspended on 2 February 2022 until 3 March 2022, then the remaining series at the regular season in Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Denpasar, as well as the post season in Bandung has been cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The series return again to "bubble" after many players get Covid-19.
The 2023 Indonesian Basketball League is the eighth season of Indonesian top domestic basketball league since the re-branding by Starting5. This season marked the 20th Anniversary of the IBL indonesia since its establishment in 2003.
