The 2013 Bangladesh Federation Cup was the 26th edition to be played and was known as the Walton Federation Cup due to sponsorship reasons. [1]

Contents

The competition started on 21 November and finished with the final at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on 9 December.

Twelve teams took part with the first round being played as a group stage; all groups contained three teams. The top two sides from each group qualified for the knock-out stages.

2006 AFC Challenge Cup

The 2006 AFC Challenge Cup was held between 1 and 16 April 2006 in Bangladesh. Afghanistan were not in the draw, but were included in the tournament following the recommendation from AFC to do so. It was also Bhutan's first tournament.

The 2009 AFC President's Cup was the fifth edition of the AFC President's Cup, a competition for football clubs in countries categorized as "emerging nations" by the Asian Football Confederation. Eleven teams competed for the title and were split up into three groups, playing each other team in their group once. The winner of each group and the best runner-up qualified for the semifinals, and the winners of the semifinal matches played in the final match to determine the winner.

2009 SAFF Championship

The 2009 South Asian Football Federation Championship was hosted by Bangladesh from 4 to 13 December 2009. Bangladesh was awarded to host the tournament after the withdrawal of original hosts India.

2015 Bangabandhu Cup

The Bangabandhu Cup or Bangabandhu Gold Cup is an international association football tournament organised by the Bangladesh Football Federation as a tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This was the 3rd edition of the Bangabandhu Cup, after a hiatus of 6 years. It was finally given the go ahead to be played in early 2015 with six nations participating.

1999 Bangabandhu Cup was the 2nd season of the Bangabandhu Cup, after the first edition was held in 1996-7. The second edition ran from 27 August 1999 to 7 September 1999. A Japanese Third Division XI went on to win the cup after defeating the Ghana U–23 team 3-2 in the finals.

2018 Bangabandhu Cup

The 2018 Bangabandhu Gold Cup or simply 2018 Bangabandhu Cup was an international association football tournament organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as a tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This was the 5th edition of the tournament with six teams competing from 1 to 12 October 2018.

The 2018 Federation Cup also known as the 2018 Walton Federation Cup due to the sponsorship from Walton Group was the 30th edition of the tournament. Thirteeen teams completed. Dhaka Abahani was the winner of previous edition of the tournament. The winner earned a slot in the group stage of the 2019 AFC Cup.

The 2018–19 Independence Cup, also known as Walton Independence Cup 2018 or Walton Independence Cup Football Tournament 2018 due to the sponsorship from Walton Group, was the 10th edition of the Independence Cup, the main domestic annual club football tournament organized by Bangladesh Football Federation. Thirteen participants competed in the tournament.

2020 Bangabandhu Cup

The 2020 Bangabandhu Gold Cup or simply 2020 Bangabandhu Cup was an international football tournament organized and hosted by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as a name of tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This was the 6th edition of the tournament, with six teams competing from 15 to 25 January 2020.

2019–20 Bangladesh Federation Cup football tournament season

The 2019–20 Federation Cup also known as 2019–20 TVS Federation Cup was 31st edition of the tournament, the main domestic annual club football competition in Bangladesh organized by Bangladesh Football Federation. The 13 participants will compete for the tournament. The winner of the tournament will earn the slot of playing preliminary round of 2021 AFC Cup.
