Mash'al Mubarek and FK Andijan were relegated in the last edition of the Uzbek League to First League. Sogdiana Jizzakh and FK Guliston replaced them.

Uzbekistan Super League, known as Coca-Cola Uzbekistan Super League due to sponsorship reasons, is the top division of professional football in Uzbekistan. It is operated under the auspices of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League and Uzbekistan Football Association. It was founded in 1992 and currently played with 14 teams. The top team qualifies to the group stage of the AFC Champions League.

Also Bunyodkor youth team won 2013 Uzbek Youth League. Bunyodkor also competed in the AFC Champions League, reaching the Round of 16 stage before being knocked out by Buriram United of Thailand.
