2013 AFC U-22 Championship qualification

The 2013 AFC U-22 Championship qualification was the qualification tournament for the inaugural edition of the AFC U-22 Asian Cup. The qualifiers took place from 23 June to 3 July 2012, but were later changed to 2–10 June for Group D, due to Nepal's request. The matches were later rescheduled to start from 16 June and 3 July for Indonesia.

The 2013 EAFF Women's East Asian Cup was the fourth edition of EAFF Women's East Asian Cup. There were three competition rounds. The final round was won by North Korea. In August 2012, Australia accepted an invitation to take part.

The 2013 AFC U-16 Women's Championship qualification is the qualification stage of 2013 AFC U-16 Women's Championship. The first matches were played on 6 November 2012.

The 2017 EAFF E-1 Football Championship was the 7th edition of the EAFF E-1 Football Championship, the football championship of East Asia. It was held in Japan in December 2017. Through the agreement between EAFF and ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), the winner of the tournament will qualified for the AFF–EAFF Champions Trophy.

2015 EAFF East Asian Cup

The 2015 EAFF East Asian Cup was the 6th edition of the EAFF East Asian Cup, the football championship of East Asia. It was held in China in 2015. Two preliminary competitions were held during 2014.

2015 EAFF Womens East Asian Cup

The 2015 EAFF Women's East Asian Cup was the fifth edition of the EAFF Women's East Asian Cup, an international women's football tournament organised by the East Asian Football Federation. Nine of ten EAFF member nations entered the tournament. Only Mongolia did not participate.

The second round of AFC matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification was played from 24 May 2015 to 29 March 2016.

The 2016 AFF U-19 Youth Championship was the 14th edition of the AFF U-19 Youth Championship, organised by the ASEAN Football Federation, and known for sponsorship reasons as the AFF Vietcombank U19 Championship. It was hosted by Vietnam for the sixth time after the 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014 editions. It was played from 11 to 24 September 2016. Eleven out of the twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation took part in the tournament featuring two groups of five and six teams.

2018 AFC U-16 Championship

The 2018 AFC U-16 Championship was the 18th edition of the AFC U-16 Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's under-16 national teams of Asia. It took place in Malaysia, which was appointed as hosts by the AFC on 25 July 2017, between 20 September and 7 October 2018. A total of 16 teams played in the tournament.

The men's football tournament at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games was held from 14 to 29 August in Malaysia in August 2017. In this tournament, all 11 Southeast Asian teams played in the men's competition. In addition to the host city of Kuala Lumpur, matches were also played in Shah Alam and Selayang. Associations affiliated with FIFA might send teams to participate in the tournament. Men's teams were restricted to under-22 players.

The 2019 EAFF E-1 Football Championship was the 8th edition of the EAFF E-1 Football Championship, an international football tournament for East Asian countries and territories organized by the EAFF. The finals were held in South Korea in December 2019. It was the nation's third time hosting the tournament.

The men's football tournament at the 2018 Asian Games was held from 10 August to 1 September 2018. It was the 17th edition of the men's tournament. In this tournament, 25 teams played in the men's competition. South Korea were the gold medal holders when they won the tournament in 2014. They managed to retain their title.

The 2019 EAFF E-1 Football Championship was the seventh edition of the women's tournament of the EAFF E-1 Football Championship, the women's football championship of East Asia. It was held in South Korea in December 2019.

The men's football tournament at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games was held from 25 November to 10 December 2019 in the Philippines. All eleven Southeast Asian teams played in the men's competition. Matches were played in Manila, Biñan and Imus. Men's teams were restricted to under-22 players.

The AFC second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, which also serves as the second round of 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification, is being played from 5 September 2019 to 15 June 2021.

The 2020 AFC U-16 Championship qualification was an international men's under-16 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2020 AFC U-16 Championship.

The 2020 AFC U-19 Championship qualification is an international men's under-19 football competition which will decide the participating teams of the 2020 AFC U-19 Championship.

The 2020 AFC Cup qualifying play-offs were played from 21 January to 26 February 2020, before the remaining matches were suspended, and eventually cancelled by the AFC on 10 September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the original competition format, a total of 19 teams would compete in the qualifying play-offs to decide seven of the 36 places in the group stage of the 2020 AFC Cup.
