The 24th Men's European Volleyball Championship was the first continental volleyball competition hosted by two nations – Serbia and Montenegro and Italy, namely in their respective capitals, Belgrade and Rome. Championship took place from September 2 to September 11, 2005.
The Women's CEV Cup, formerly known as CEV Cup Winners' Cup and CEV Top Teams Cup, is the second-top official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created in 1972 as CEV Cup Winners' Cup. In 2000 it was renamed the CEV Top Teams Cup and in 2007 it became the CEV Cup following a CEV decision to transfer the name of its third competition to its second one, the former CEV Cup was renamed CEV Challenge Cup.

The 2011 Women's European Volleyball League was the third edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which featured Women's national volleyball teams from twelve European countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and Turkey. A preliminary league round was played from May 25 to July 10, and the final four tournament, which was held at Istanbul, Turkey, on 15/16 July.
The 2012 Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship was played in Ankara, Turkey from August 18 to 26, 2012. Turkey won the championship before Serbia and Italy, and qualified to the 2013 Women's Junior World Championship.
The 2012 Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship was the 23rd edition of the Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. It was held Gdynia, Poland and Randers, Denmark from August 24 to September 2, 2012.
The 2014 CEV U20 Volleyball European Championship was the 24th edition of the Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. It was held in Nitra and Brno from 29 August to 6 September 2014.
The 2015 Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship was played in Samokov and Plovdiv, Bulgaria from March 28 to April 5, 2015. The top six teams qualified for the 2015 Youth World Championship.
The 2005 Boys' Youth European Volleyball Championship was the 6th edition of the Boys' Youth European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. It was held in Riga, Latvia from March 29 to April 3, 2005.
Tijana Milojević is a Belgian-born Serbian volleyball player. She plays for the Chinese Volleyball Super League side Shenzhen Phoenix. She was a member of Serbia U18 national volleyball team who earned silver medal in both Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship and European Youth Olympic Festival in 2015.
The 2016 CEV U20 Volleyball European Championship is the 25th edition of the Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship, organised by CEV. It will be played in Bulgaria from 2 to 10 September 2016.
