The 2013 Giro d'Italia Femminile, also known as the 2013 Giro Rosa, was the 24th consecutive Giro d'Italia Femminile, the most prestigious Italian stage race in the women's road cycling calendar for 2013. It was held over eight stages between 30 June and 7 July 2013, starting in Giovinazzo, Apulia, and finishing with an individual time trial in Cremona, Lombardy. [1]

The Giro d’Italia Women is an annual women's cycle stage race around Italy. First held in 1988, the race is currently part of the UCI Women's World Tour, and is currently organised by RCS Sport, the organisers of the men's Giro d'Italia. The race was previously branded as the Giro d'Italia Femminile prior to 2013, the Giro Rosa from 2013 to 2020, and the Giro Donne from 2021 to 2023.

The 1951 Giro d'Italia was the 34th edition of the Giro d'Italia, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The Giro started off in Milan on 19 May with a 202 km (125.5 mi) flat stage and concluded back in Milan with a 172 km (106.9 mi) relatively flat mass-start stage on 10 June. Fourteen teams entered the race, which was won by Italian Fiorenzo Magni of the Ganna team. Second and third respectively were Belgian Rik Van Steenbergen and Swiss rider Ferdinand Kübler.

The 1936 Giro d'Italia was the 24th edition of the Giro d'Italia, organized and sponsored by the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. The race began on 16 May in Milan with a stage that stretched 161 km (100 mi) to Turin, finishing back in Milan on 7 June after a 248 km (154 mi) stage and a total distance covered of 3,766 km (2,340 mi). The 1948 Giro d'Italia was the 31st edition of the Giro d'Italia, organized and sponsored by the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. The race began on 15 May in Milan with a stage that stretched 190 km (118 mi) to Turin, finishing back in Milan on 6 June after a 231 km (144 mi) stage and a total distance covered of 4,164 km (2,587 mi). The race was won by the Italian rider Fiorenzo Magni of the Wilier Triestina team, with fellow Italians Ezio Cecchi and Giordano Cottur coming in second and third respectively.

The 1947 Giro d'Italia was the 30th edition of the Giro d'Italia, organized and sponsored by the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. The 2014 Giro d'Italia began on 9 May, and stage 11 occurred on 21 May. The 2014 edition began with a team time trial in Belfast. The first three stage of the Giro began in Northern Ireland, while the Giro returned to Italy on 13 May, after the first rest day.

The Giro Donne has been won three times by a racer who led the general classification on the first stage and held the lead all the way to finish. The 29th running of the women's Giro d'Italia, or Giro Rosa, was held from 6 to 15 July 2018. Raced over ten stages, it is considered the most prestigious stage race of the women's calendar. It was the 14th event of the 2018 UCI Women's World Tour. Two-time winner Anna van der Breggen was the defending champion. However she elected not to defend her title, choosing instead to focus on preparing for a bid to win her first title at the Road World Championships.

The 31st women's Giro d'Italia, or Giro Rosa, was held from 11 to 19 September 2020. It is considered the most prestigious stage race of the women's calendar and of the 2020 UCI Women's World Tour. The race was originally scheduled from 26 June to 5 July, but was postponed to mid-September due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy and reduced to 9 stages rather than the originally planned 10.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Giro Rosa</span> Cycling race

The 2021 Giro d'Italia Donne was the 32nd edition of the Giro d'Italia Femminile women's road cycling stage race. The race started on 2 July and finished on 9 July and, as the longest and one of the most prestigious races on the women's calendar, included ten stages covering over 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) across northern Italy.
