The 2013 Summit League men's soccer season was the eighth season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. The venue for the 2013 Summit League Men's Soccer Tournament has yet been announced.

Contents

The defending regular season champions are the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, but the school left for the Horizon League at the end of the 2012–13 school year. The Western Illinois Leathernecks are the defending tournament champions.

The Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Year is an annual college basketball award given to the most outstanding men's basketball player in the Summit League. The award was first given following the 1982–83 season. Two players—Caleb Green of Oral Roberts and Mike Daum of South Dakota State—have won the award three times. Five other players have won the award twice: Jon Collins of Eastern Illinois, Tony Bennett of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Bryce Drew of Valparaiso, Keith Benson of Oakland and Max Abmas of Oral Roberts.

The 2013 Western Athletic Conference men's soccer season is the fifth season of men's varsity soccer in the conference, and the first since 1999. The conference first sponsored the sport in 1996, but after eight schools split from the WAC in 1999 to form the Mountain West Conference (MW), the WAC only played the 1999 season before disbanding its men's soccer league.

The 2017 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 2 and 4, 2017. The three-match tournament took place at Dacotah Field in Fargo, North Dakota. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits were the defending champions, but they were eliminated from the 2017 tournament with a 2–0 semifinal loss to the North Dakota State Bison. The Denver Pioneers won the tournament and earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The tournament win was Denver's second as a member of the conference.

The 2017–18 IUPUI Jaguars men's basketball team represented Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Jaguars, led by fourth-year head coach Jason Gardner, played their home games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana, with one home game at The Jungle, as first-year members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 11–19, 8–10 in Horizon League play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament to Oakland.

The 2019 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 7 and 9, 2019. The three-match tournament took place at Fishback Soccer Park in Brookings, South Dakota. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Denver Pioneers were the defending champions, and were unable to defend their title losing to South Dakota State on penalties in the final. The win earned South Dakota State the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The tournament win was Denver's fifth as a member of the conference, and the first for coach Brock Thompson.

The 2020 NCAA Division I women's soccer season was the 38th season of NCAA championship women's college soccer. The season was originally slated to begin on August 20, 2020 and conclude on November 9, 2020. The season was to culminate with the 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament, which was to be held from November 18 to December 13, 2020, with the four-team College Cup.

The 2021 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 4 and 6, 2021. The three-match tournament took place at University of Denver Soccer Stadium in Denver, Colorado. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Denver Pioneers were the defending champions, and were unable to defend their title losing to South Dakota State in the final. The tournament win was South Dakota State's sixth as a member of the conference, and the second for coach Brock Thompson. South Dakota State has now won two of the past three Summit League tournaments. As tournament champions, South Dakota State earned the Summit League's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2021 Horizon League men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Horizon League. It was held from November 7 through November 13, 2021. The quarterfinals of the tournament were held at campus sites, while semifinals and final took place at Oakland Soccer Field in Rochester, Michigan. The six team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Milwaukee Panthers were the defending champions. They were unable to defend their crown, falling to Cleveland State in the Semifinals. Oakland finished as tournament champions after defeating Cleveland State 3–1 in the Final. This was the third overall title for Oakland, all of which have come under head coach Eric Pogue. As tournament champions, Oakland earned the Horizon League's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.

The 2020 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on April 15 and 17, 2021. It was played in the spring of 2021 along with the conference season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The three-match tournament took place at Caniglia Field in Omaha, Nebraska. The four-team single elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. South Dakota State was the defending champion, and were unable to defend their title, losing to Omaha in the semifinal game in penalties. Denver won the championship game over Omaha, which was their fourth since entering the conference and also for coach Jeff Hooker. Denver has now won or participated in the championship game in the last four tournaments.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 Summit League women's soccer season</span> Sports season

The 2022 Summit League women's soccer season started non-conference play on August 10, 2022, and began conference play on September 23, 2022. The regular season ended on October 23, 2022. The Summit League tournament began on October 28, 2022 and ended on November 5, 2022 with Omaha winning the championship game in penalties. The Mavericks then went on to the NCAA tournament and lost to Notre Dame.
