The Cable News Network (CNN) is a multinational cable news channel headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. It is owned by CNN Global, which is a subsidiary of Manhattan-based Warner Bros. Discovery. It was founded in 1980 by American media proprietor Ted Turner and Reese Schonfeld as a 24-hour cable news channel. Upon its launch in 1980, CNN was the first television channel to provide 24-hour news coverage and the first all-news television channel in the United States.

On September 16, 2014, CC Media Holdings, Inc. was rebranded iHeartMedia, Inc., and Clear Channel Communications, Inc., became iHeartCommunications, Inc.

The ARY Group of companies is a Dubai-based holding company founded by a Pakistani businessman, Abdul Razzak Yaqoob (ARY). The network is focused towards only Pakistani diaspora. The channel has an expanding network of channels, each with an independent focus.
APNA Channel, is a Urdu language satellite television channel broadcasting from Pakistan. It was launched on 14 October 2004. It also broadcasts English-language programs dubbed in Punjabi. Later in 2020, channel started airing Urdu language programs. APNA Channel is part of the APNA TV Network which also include the news channel Abb Takk News.
Hum Awards are annual Pakistani accolades bestowed by the Hum Network Limited in recognition of excellence in programming of television, fashion and music industry of Pakistan. Winners are awarded the Hum Award of Merit. The awards were first presented in 2013 at a ceremony held at the Karachi Expo Centre.

Zindagi is an Indian general entertainment channel, owned by the Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL). It also promoted itself as a television channel broadcasting short-run programming and as India's new Hindi entertainment channel, rather than on-going, indefinite serials. It has syndicated content from various countries including Brazil, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey and Ukraine. Launched on 23 June 2014, ZEEL invested ₹100 crores to launch the network.
