The 2014 Aaha! Rara Gold Cup is the 12th edition of the Aaha Gold Cup held in Pokhara and organised by Sahara Club. 12 teams participated in the tournament. The defending champions Three Star Club have chosen not to compete. All matches were held at the Pokhara Rangasala. Due to a sponsorship deal with Him-Shree Foods (a Pokhara-based food company), the tournament is officially known as the 12thAaha! Rara Gold Cup 2014. Which is named after its flagship product, "RARA" instant noodles. [1]

It was formerly known as the Caravan Gold Cup,however due to sponsorship reasons it is currently known as the Aaha! Rara Gold Cup. It is considered a major football tournament in Nepal, and is therefore endorsed by ANFA Kaski, a district FA of the All Nepal Football Association.

Sujal Shrestha is a former Nepalese footballer. He played for club Machhindra F.C. in Martyr's Memorial A-Division League as a midfielder. He was called to Nepal squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. On 23rd March 2023 Sujal Announced his Retirement from International Football.

Deepak Bhusal is a footballer from Nepal. He made his first appearance for the Nepal national football team in 2009.

Shiva Shrestha is a Nepali professional footballer. He plays for Manang Marshyangdi Club in Nepal National League as a midfielder. He was called to Nepali internationals at the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

A total of 16 teams competed in the league. The season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 8 January 2019. It was the first top division league held since the 2015 National League due to aftermath of the 2015 Nepal earthquake. On 16 September 2018, it was decided that there will be no relegation, however the two bottom placed teams would have two and one points deducted respectively in the following season.
