Tunisia, officially the Republic of Tunisia, is the northernmost country in Africa. It is a part of the Maghreb region of North Africa, and is bordered by Algeria to the west and southwest, Libya to the southeast, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east; covering 163,610 km2 (63,170 sq mi), with a population of 11 million. It contains the eastern end of the Atlas Mountains and the northern reaches of the Sahara desert, with much of its remaining territory arable land. Its 1,300 km (810 mi) of coastline include the African conjunction of the western and eastern parts of the Mediterranean Basin. Tunisia is home to Africa's northernmost point, Cape Angela; and its capital and largest city is Tunis, located on its northeastern coast, which lends the country its name.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tunis is a Roman Catholic diocese in Tunis, Tunisia. It was founded on 10 November 1884 under the name "Archdiocese of Carthage", with territory corresponding to that of the then French protectorate of Tunisia. On 9 July 1964, it became a territorial prelature under the ecclesiastical title of Prelature of Tunis. It was made a diocese, keeping the name of Tunis, on 31 May 1995, and raised to the rank of archdiocese on 22 May 2010.

Faouzi Benzarti is a Tunisian former football player and the current coach of Wydad Casablanca. He spent his entire career as a player at his home club US Monastir without any achievements. His training career began and was only 29 years old, making it the youngest Tunisian coach at the time. He is considered one of the most successful coaches in Tunisia. He usually uses offensive play and a high-pressure plan as he is known for his toughness in training and his excessive anger towards his players and referees. During his managerial career, he was in charge of two national teams: the Tunisian and Libyan national football teams, he was also close to signing with the Moroccan team in 2016 before appointing Hervé Renard.

Fadhila Louati is a retired amateur Tunisian freestyle wrestler, who competed in the women's flyweight category. Considered one of the nation's top wrestlers in her decade, Louati has yielded a marvelous record of three gold medals in her career hardware at the All-Africa Games, and at the 2001 Mediterranean Games in Tunis. She also had an opportunity to represent her nation Tunisia in the 48-kg division at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing fourteenth in the process. Louati is also a member of the wrestling squad for Centre Intégré de Radès in her native Tunis, under her personal coach Noureddine Mefri.
