The 2014 Australian Manufacturers' Championship was an Australian motor racing series for modified production touring cars. [1] It comprised three CAMS sanctioned national championship titles:

The 2014 Australian Manufacturers' Championship was the 29th manufacturers title to be awarded by CAMS and the 20th to be contested under the Australian Manufacturers' Championship name. The 2014 Australian Production Car Championship was the 21st Australian Production Car Championship and the 2014 Australian Endurance Championship was the 12th Australian Endurance Championship.

Australian Manufacturers Championship Pty Ltd was appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager for the championship. [1]

The Manufacturers title was won by BMW, [2] the Production Car title by Beric Lynton (BMW 1M), [3] and the Endurance title by Grant Sherrin (BMW 135i). [2]

The results for each Round of the Championship were determined by the number of points scored by each driver at that round. [1]

Points system

Each manufacturer was able to score points towards the Australian Manufacturers' Championship title from the two highest placed automobiles of its make, in any class, excluding Class I. [1] The title was awarded to the manufacturer scoring the highest total number of class points over all rounds of the championship. [1]

Points towards the Australian Production Car Championship outright title were awarded to drivers based on outright finishing positions attained in each race. [1] Points were awarded using the same two scales as used for the Australian Manufacturers' Championship with the addition of two points for the driver setting the fastest qualifying lap in each class at each round. Points towards the Australian Production Car Championship class titles were awarded to drivers based on class finishing positions attained in each race. [1] Points were awarded using the same two scales as used for the Australian Manufacturers' Championship with the addition of two points for the driver setting the fastest qualifying lap in each class at each round. Points towards the Australian Endurance Championship outright title were awarded to drivers based on outright finishing positions attained in each of the first three single-race rounds. [1] Points were awarded using the same scale as used for the Australian Manufacturers' Championship with the addition of two points for the driver setting the fastest qualifying lap in each class at each round. Points towards the Australian Endurance Championship class titles were awarded to drivers based on class finishing positions attained in each of the first three single-race rounds. Australian Endurance Championship

The Australian Endurance Championship was awarded to the driver who scored the highest total number of outright points over Rounds 1, 2 & 3 of the Championship. [1]

A Class award for the Australian Endurance Championship was presented to each driver who scored the highest total number of points for each Class, excluding Class I over the first three rounds of the Championship. [1]

The Australian Endurance Championship is an Australian motor racing title which has been awarded by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport in numerous years and for numerous categories since 1981.

The 1986 Australian Endurance Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing title open to Touring Cars as specified in the National Competition Rules of CAMS. The title, which was the sixth Australian Endurance Championship, was contested concurrently with the 1986 Australian Manufacturers' Championship, which was the sixteenth in a sequence of manufacturers championships awarded by CAMS, and the seventh to be contested under the Australian Manufacturers' Championship name.

2011 Phillip Island Six Hour

The 2011 Phillip Island Six Hour was an endurance motor race for production cars. It was held on 29 May 2011 at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. It was Round 2 of the 2011 Australian Manufacturers' Championship, Round 2 of the 2011 Australian Production Car Championship and Round 1 of the 2011 Australian Production Car Endurance Championship. The race was won by Stuart Kostera and Ian Tulloch, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. The Mazda 3 MPS of Jake Camilleri and Scott Nicholas finished a lap down in second with the Lancer Evolution 9 of Jim Pollicina, Dean Kelland and Steve Cramp a further lap down in third.

2013 Touring Car Masters

The 2013 Touring Car Masters was an Australian motor racing competition for modified Touring Cars manufactured between 1 January 1963 and 31 December 1976. It was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport as a National Series with Australian Classic Touring (3D) Cars Pty Ltd appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager. It was the seventh annual Touring Car Masters series.

2013 Great Southern 4 Hour

The 2013 Great Southern 4 Hour was an endurance motor race held on 26 May 2013 at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Victoria, Australia. It was Round 1 of the 2013 Australian Manufacturers' Championship and as such it was open to "modified production touring cars" complying with the technical regulations for that championship. The race was won by Bob Pearson and Glenn Seton, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10.

It was the 57th Australian Drivers' Championship and the ninth to be contested with open wheel racing cars constructed in accordance with FIA Formula 3 regulations. The championship began on 29 March at the Mount Panorama Circuit and ended on 17 November at Sandown Raceway after seven rounds across five different states and territories. Formula 3 Management Pty Ltd was appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager for the Championship.

The 2014 Australian Carrera Cup Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing title open to Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd was appointed as the Category Manager for the championship, which was the tenth Australian Carrera Cup Championship.

The 2014 Australian GT Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing championship open to FIA GT3 cars and similar cars as approved for the championship. The Australian GT Sportscar Group Pty Ltd was appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager for the championship. The title, which was the 18th Australian GT Championship, was won by Richard Muscat, driving a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.

The 2015 Australian Carrera Cup Championship was an Australian motor racing competition for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. It was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) as a national championship with Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd appointed as the Category Manager by CAMS. The title, which was the eleventh Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship, was won by Nick Foster.
