The 2014 Conference Premier play-off final, known as the 2014 Skrill Premier play-off final for sponsorship reasons, was a football match between Cambridge United and Gateshead on 18 May 2014 at Wembley Stadium in London. [1] It was the twelfth Conference Premier play-off final.

Cambridge secured a place in the final after beating F.C. Halifax Town 2–1 on aggregate. [2] Gateshead's place was secured after beating Grimsby Town 4–2 over two legs. [3] This was Cambridge United's 3rd Conference play-off final after losing in 2008 and 2009 and Gateshead's first ever Conference play-off final and their first ever visit to Wembley Stadium.

Cambridge United won the game 2–1 and were promoted to the 2014–15 Football League Two.

The 2012–13 Football Conference season was the ninth season in which the Conference consisted of three divisions and the thirty-third season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, whilst the Conference North and Conference South exist at the sixth level. The 2015 Conference Premier play-off final, known as the 2015 Vanarama Conference Promotion Final for sponsorship reasons, was a football match between Bristol Rovers and Grimsby Town played on 17 May 2015 at Wembley Stadium in London. It was the thirteenth Conference Premier play-off final, the eighth to be played at Wembley and the first to feature either side.

The 2015–16 FA Trophy Final was the 47th final of the FA Trophy. The match was contested by FC Halifax Town and Grimsby Town. Grimsby Town were beaten finalists in 2013, but it was FC Halifax Town's first final and their first visit to Wembley Stadium. For the first time the final of the FA Vase was played on the same day at the same venue, contested by Hereford and Morpeth Town. Both matches were televised in the UK on BT Sport.
