The 2014 FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup season was the 22nd season of the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup. Vladimir Vasilyev in Mini was the champion.

Calendar

The calendar for the 2014 season featured ten rallies. [1] [2] Some of the rallies are also part of FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship and the FIM Bajas World Cup.

The six Bajas award 30 points to the winner, whereas the other four races are worth 60 points for the winner.

Marc Coma Spanish motorcycle racer

Marc Coma i Camps is a Spanish rally racing motorcycle rider. He won the Dakar Rally in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014, and 2015 riding a KTM motorcycle, and is also a six-time winner of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. He was the race director of the Dakar Rally from 2016 to 2018.

Rally raid Long distance off-road racing

Rally raid, also known as cross-country rallying, is a form of long distance off-road racing that takes place over several days. The length of the event can be as short as 2–3 days for a cross-country baja to as long as 15 days with marathon rallies like the Dakar Rally; with other cross-country rally events lasting 4–5 days. With skill in navigation being key, the driving skill and endurance of riders, drivers, co-drivers, and machines are put to the test. The total distance covered can be anywhere between 600 km to over 5,000 km with terrain ranging from sandy dunes, forest roads, mountain roads, and dry river beds; among others.

The Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge is an international rally raid race held in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates since 1991. The race is points scoring for the World Rally-Raid Championship and is organized by the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), the sole representative of the FIA and the FIM in the country, headed by the event founder Mohammed bin Sulayem.

The FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship was the premier championship of Rally raid racing, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), from 1999 to 2021 . Asides the main championship, there were World Cups for the following categories: Quads, Women, Junior, and over 450 cc.

Harith Noah is a professional motorsports athlete from Shoranur in Kerala, India. He represents India in international cross country rallies such as the Dakar Rally. He is a 5-time Indian National Supercross champion. Since 2018, he is taking part in cross-country rallies and made his debut at Dakar in 2020. In 2021, Harith completed the Dakar Rally and became the first Cross-country rally-raid athlete representing India to have finished in the top-20. He is the fastest rider from India at Dakar with a highest ranking of P18 in a Dakar stage in 2022. He beat his own record of P19 which he set in 2021. He completed three Dakar Rallies and is one of the four Indians to have taken part in Dakar. He beat CS Santosh record of P34, finishing Dakar in P20 on Jan 15, 2021. In July 2022, Harith Noah competed in the FIM Baja Spain Aragon, the fourth round of the FIM Bajas World Cup and finished a creditable fourth behind his Sherco TVS Factory teammates Lorenzo Santolino and Rui Goncalves.

The 2020 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies was set to be the 28th season of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies; an annual rally raid competition for cars, buggies, side-by-sides, and trucks held in multiple countries. Due to COVID-19 pandemic all events but one were cancelled, and FIA considered that only one event wasn't enough to award a World title and cancelled the season.

The World Rally-Raid Championship is a rally raid series organised by the Amaury Sport Organization and co-sanctioned by the FIA and FIM. The championship's seasons culminate with world titles in both four-wheeled and motorcycle categories.

The 2022 FIM Bajas World Cup season is the 11th season of the FIM Bajas World Cup, an international rally raid competition for motorbikes, quads and SSVs.
