Dunk contest

The Dunk Contest also called Nike Dunk Contest due to sponsorship reasons, was held from 7–8 June 2014. Each team can enter 1 player to participate in the dunk contest. There are two phases, the qualification and the final, which consists of the semi-finals and final). Each player has three attempts to complete both a first and a second dunk which was graded by members of the jury (0 or 5-10). 7 players entered to the competition. [2]

The USA Women's 3x3 Teams are two of the teams under the auspices of the USA Basketball organization. In 2007, FIBA decided to start championships for the 3x3 event, starting in 2010. Two events are held, one for athletes under 18 years of age and one open event. The under 18 event (U18) is held every year, although in every fourth year, starting with 2010, the event is part of the Youth Olympic Games. The open events are held every other year, in even-numbered years, starting in 2012.

The 2017 FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup was the third edition of the 3x3 Europe Championships, organized by FIBA Europe, and was held between 7 and 9 July 2017, at the Museumplein in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This 3x3 basketball competition featured separate tournaments for men's and women's national teams.

The men's tournament of the 2017 FIBA 3x3 Under-18 World Cup was hosted in Chengdu, China in front of the New Century Global Center. It was contested by 20 teams.

As part of the 2018 FIBA 3x3 World Cup held from June 8 to 12, 2018, three tournaments in addition to the main 3x3 men's and women's tournaments were contested. The Dunk-out contest was for men, the Skills contest for women, and the Shoot-out contest for both men and women.
