In Gaelic football, St. Vincent's were the defending champions in the Dublin Senior Football Championship after winning the Dublin Championship in 2013 and 2014. [1] Castleknock played in the 2015 Senior Championship after winning the 2014 Dublin Intermediate Football Championship. [2]

Round 1

The first round began on 6 May 2015 with five games. [3] [4] A further four games were played on 7 May with a facile win for last years finalists St. Oliver Plunkett's Eoghan Ruadh as the standout fixture. [5] On 8 May, several games were cancelled due to weather conditions although, two games did go ahead with wins for Clontarf and Na Fianna. [6] [7] [8] Parnells, Naomh Maur, Erins Isle, Whitehall Colmcille, Round Towers Clondalkin, O'Toole's, St. Peregrines, Thomas Davis, Fingal Ravens, St. Mary's, Cuala, Castleknock and Templeogue Synge Street were all knocked out in the first round. All the losing teams go on to play in the Dublin Senior B Football Championship and the winning teams progress to the second round of the Dublin Senior Football Championship.

The Dublin Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top Dublin GAA clubs. The winners of the Dublin Championship qualify to represent their county in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The 2022 Dublin County Champions are Kilmacud Crokes who defeated Na Fianna in the final.

The 2006 Dublin Senior Football Championship was an edition of an annual Gaelic football competition organized by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland. The competition used a modified knockout format. The previous champions in 2005 were Kilmacud Crokes, who were knocked out of the 2006 competition at the semi-final stage. UCD finished the 2006 championship as Dublin champions, by beating St Vincents in the final.

The Dublin Minor Football Championship "A" is a Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Dublin GAA between the top teams in minor (under-18) Gaelic football in County Dublin, Ireland. The trophy awarded for the championship is the FitzGerald Cup.

Bernard Brogan is a Gaelic footballer from the St Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh club who previously played for the Dublin county team. He is originally from the Battery Heights. From a famous footballing family, he is the son of former All-Ireland winning and All Star player Bernard Brogan Snr and is the brother of former Dublin players Alan and Paul. His uncle Jim was also an inter-county footballer for Dublin. Alongside most of his family, Brogan has attended St. Declan's College on Navan Road.

Castleknock Hurling and Football Club is a Dublin GAA club centered on the townlands of Carpenterstown and Diswellstown in the civil parish of Castleknock in Fingal, Ireland. It serves large parts of the suburban areas of Castleknock, Hartstown, Coolmine, Blanchardstown, Laurel Lodge and Clonsilla. The club plays the following Gaelic games at all age levels from nursery to adult: Hurling, Gaelic football, Camogie and Ladies' Gaelic football.

The 2011 Dublin Senior Football Championship is the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA. There are currently 8 teams remaining in contention for the Dublin Championship.

The 2012 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA. St Brigid's were the defending champions and Skerries Harps were the latest addition to the senior championship having won the Intermediate championship in 2011.

The championship was changed since 2012, with a backdoor system no longer in place, meaning that the championship was played on a knockout basis. All teams knocked out in the first round of the Dublin championship were entered into a new Dublin Senior B Championship.

The 2014 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the top club championship competition on the Dublin GAA calendar for 2014. The championship was changed since 2012, with a backdoor system no longer in place, meaning that the championship was played on a knockout basis. All teams knocked out in the first round of the Dublin championship are entered into the Dublin Senior B Championship. St. Maur's were eventual B Championship winners.

The 2017 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the 131st edition of Dublin GAA's premier gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. 32 teams participate, with the winner representing Dublin in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship.

The 2018 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the 132nd edition of Dublin GAA's premier Gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. 31 teams participate, with the winner of Senior 1 representing Dublin in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship. The draw for the group stages of the championship were made on 21 March 2018.

The London county football team represents London in men's Gaelic football and is governed by London GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Connacht Senior Football Championship and the National Football League.

The 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club football tournament. It was the first club championship to be organised in two years as the 2020-21 championship was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The championship began on 21 November 2021 and ended on 12 February 2022.
