The 2015 Internationale Jänner Rallye was the first round of the 2015 European Rally Championship season, held in Austria between 4–6 January 2015. [1]

Austria Federal republic in Central Europe

Austria, officially the Republic of Austria, is a country of nearly 9 million people in Central Europe. It is bordered by the Czech Republic and Germany to the north, Hungary and Slovakia to the east, Slovenia and Italy to the south, and Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the west. The territory of Austria covers 83,879 km2 (32,386 sq mi). European Rally Championship annual rallying championship series in Europe

The European Rally Championship is an automobile rally competition held annually on the European continent and organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship has been organized since 1953 and have disputed in different European countries, alternating between rallies on asphalt and gravel. It was the first supranational rally championship that was organized in the world and therefore the oldest one. In 2012 it had 60 editions and in 2013 its was renewed with the merger with the Intercontinental Rally Challenge.

The 2012 European Rally Championship season was the 60th season of the FIA European Rally Championship, the European continental championship series in rallying. The season consisted of eleven rallies, beginning with the Internationale Jänner Rallye in Austria on 5 January 2012 and concluding with the Rallye International du Valais on 27 October 2012. After 8 rounds, Finnish driver Juho Hänninen secured the championship, winning four events.

The 2012 Rally México was the third round of the 2012 World Rally Championship (WRC) season. The rally took place between 8 and 11 March 2012.

The 30. Internationale Jänner Rallye 2013 was the first round of the 2013 European Rally Championship. The eighteen stage asphalt, snow and ice rally took place over 3–5 January 2013. Jan Kopecký won the rally with an amazing recovery, after being in third place at almost 30 seconds from the lead, with just three stages until the end of the rally.

Jänner Rallye

The Jänner Rallye, also known as the Internationale Jänner Rallye, is an international rally racing event based in Freistadt in northern Austria. The event is the season opening round of the European Rally Championship, the Austrian Rally Championship and the Czech Rally Championship. Translated from German the name means January Rally. The mid-winter calendar position means the rally is frequently snow-bound with the surface a mix of ice and asphalt.

The Rally Liepāja is an international rally racing event that travels northwards along the coastline of the Baltic Sea from Liepāja to Ventspils in Latvia. The event is a round of the European Rally Championship and the Latvian Rally Championship. Originally the rally was designed as a snow rally and unlike its neighbour in the ERC calendar, the Jänner Rallye, was not a tarmac based event but a traditional snow rally similar to events like Rally Sweden.

Group R-GT, is a FIA specification for GT cars in rallying. The R-GT regulations were introduced in 2011, and since 2014 technical passports for individual vehicles can be obtained. Thus a homologation for specific car models is no longer required.

The 2015 FIA Junior World Rally Championship was the fourteenth season of the Junior World Rally Championship, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship.

The 2015 African Rally Championship was the 35th season of the African Rally Championship (ARC), the FIA regional zone rally championship for the African continent. The season began March 6 in the Côte d'Ivoire, and ended on November 8 in Madagascar, after seven events.

The 2015 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. The championship was contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points.

It marked the 33rd running of the Rallye Deutschland, and was the ninth round of the 2015 season for the World Rally Championship, WRC-2, WRC-3 championships, as well as the third round of the FIA R-GT Cup.

The 2016 FIA World Rally Championship-2 was the fourth season of the World Rally Championship-2, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, ran in support of the World Rally Championship. 2019 World Rally Championship-2

The 2019 FIA World Rally Championship-2 is the seventh season of the World Rally Championship-2, an auto racing championship for rally cars that is recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the second-highest tier of international rallying. The category was created when the Group R class of rally car was introduced in 2013 and runs in support of the World Rally Championship. The championship is only open to cars complying with R5 regulations.

The 2018 African Rally Championship was the 38th season of the African Rally Championship (ARC), the FIA regional zone rally championship for the African continent. The season began on February 23 in the Côte d'Ivoire, and ended on October 7 in Rwanda, after seven events.
