The 2015 League 1 Cup or 2015 iPro Cup [1] for sponsorship reasons is the first year in the tournaments existence. 16 teams are playing in this years tournament, [2] no team in a division higher than the Championship One. The tournament is seen as a replacement for the recently ceased Northern Rail Cup however teams from the Championship are not eligible to compete.

2017 Scottish Challenge Cup Final Football match

The 2017 Scottish Challenge Cup Final, also known as the Irn-Bru Cup Final for sponsorship reasons, is a football match that took place on 25 March 2017 at Fir Park, between Dundee United and St Mirren. It was the 26th final of the Scottish Challenge Cup since it was first organised in 1990 to celebrate the centenary of the now defunct Scottish Football League and the fourth since the Scottish Professional Football League was formed. Both teams progressed through four elimination rounds to reach the final. The match was won by Dundee United 2 - 1, marking their first win in the tournament since its inception and their first silverware since the 2009-10 Scottish Cup final.

Andrew Brace is a former rugby union player and current referee. As an international player for Belgium, Brace currently represents the Irish Rugby Football Union as a referee. Brace has refereed matches in the Pro14, the European Rugby Challenge Cup and the European Rugby Champions Cup. In 2017 he began refereeing test matches.

Naomi Carroll is an Irish Olympian and Ireland women's field hockey international. In 2015–16 Carroll won a Women's Irish Hockey League title with Hermes. Carroll has also played both camogie and ladies' Gaelic football at senior inter-county level for Clare and represented the Republic of Ireland women's national under-17 football team.
