The Denver Pioneers won the tournament, defeating the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in the championship match.

The Summit League, or The Summit, is an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic conference with its membership mostly located in the Midwestern United States, from Minnesota in the east, to the Dakotas, Nebraska and Colorado to the West, and Missouri and Oklahoma to the South. Founded as the Association of Mid-Continent Universities in 1982, it rebranded as the Mid-Continent Conference in 1989, then again as the Summit League on June 1, 2007. The league headquarters are in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The North Dakota State Bison are the athletic teams of North Dakota State University (NDSU), which is located in the city of Fargo, North Dakota. The teams are often called the "Thundering Herd". The current logo is a bison.
The Summit League men's basketball tournament, popularly known as The Summit League at the Falls, is the post-season tournament for NCAA Division I conference Summit League. The winner of the tournament receives the Summit League's automatic bid into the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. The tournament was first played in 1984, when the league was known as the Association of Mid-Continent Universities (AMCU). The league was also known as the Mid-Continent Conference from 1989 to 2007, after which it was renamed to The Summit League.
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles are the sixteen intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Oral Roberts University, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Golden Eagles compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Summit League, which it officially joined on July 1, 2014.
The Denver Pioneers are the sports teams of the University of Denver (DU). They play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, and have amassed 35 NCAA titles as of 2024, which is in the top 15 among all schools. Denver is a member of The Summit League for men's and women's basketball, swimming and diving, men's and women's soccer, tennis and golf for both men and women, plus women's volleyball. Other DU teams play in various conferences in the sports that are not sponsored by The Summit. The men's ice hockey team is a charter member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), which formed in 2011 with play beginning in 2013. The lacrosse teams for men and women are members of the Big East Conference; the men began Big East play in the 2013–14 school year, while the women left the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) after the 2016 lacrosse season. Men's and women's skiing compete in the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association, while the women's gymnastics team became an affiliate of the Big 12 Conference starting with the 2015–16 season.
The 2015 Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer team represents Wake Forest University during the 2015 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It is the 69th season of the university fielding a program. It the program's first season with Bobby Muuss as head coach. Muuss, the fourth head coach in program history, formerly coached Denver, and took over for Jay Vidovich, who left for a head coaching position with Portland Timbers 2. The team finished the regular season ranked #1 nationally and with the best record in the Atlantic Coast Conference, earning the top seed both in the 2015 ACC Men's Soccer Tournament and the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.

The three match tournament was held at Dacotah Field in Fargo, North Dakota. The four team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits were the three-time defending tournament champions after defeating the North Dakota State Bison 3–0 in the championship match in 2015.

The three-match tournament took place at Dacotah Field in Fargo, North Dakota. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits were the defending champions, but they were eliminated from the 2017 tournament with a 2–0 semifinal loss to the North Dakota State Bison. The Denver Pioneers won the tournament and earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The tournament win was Denver's second as a member of the conference.

The 2018 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 1 and 3, 2018. The three-match tournament took place at Fishback Soccer Park in Brookings, South Dakota. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Denver Pioneers were the defending champions, and successfully defended their title with a 4–0 victory over the Omaha Mavericks in the final. The win earned Denver the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The tournament win was Denver's third as a member of the conference, all of which have come under coach Jeff Hooker.
The 2019 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 7 and 9, 2019. The three-match tournament took place at Fishback Soccer Park in Brookings, South Dakota. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Denver Pioneers were the defending champions, and were unable to defend their title losing to South Dakota State on penalties in the final. The win earned South Dakota State the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The tournament win was Denver's fifth as a member of the conference, and the first for coach Brock Thompson.
The 2021 Summit League men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 11 and 13, 2021. The three-match tournament took place at MacKenzie Alumni Field in Macomb, Illinois. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Denver Pioneers were the defending champions after no tournament was held in 2020. Denver were champions in 2019. Denver successfully defended their title, defeating Oral Roberts in the final in a penalty shoot-out. The tournament win was Denver's seventh as a member of the conference, and the title was the fourth for head coach Jamie Franks. Denver has now won seven of the past eight Summit League tournaments. As tournament champions, Denver earned the Summit League's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
The 2022 North Dakota State Bison women's soccer team represented North Dakota State University during the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The Bison play in the Summit League.
NDSU made the Summit League tournament as the fifth seed. They lost to Oral Roberts in the quarterfinals to be eliminated from contention. The Bison finished the season with an 8–9–3 record and a 4–5–0 Summit League record, good for fifth in the conference.
The 2022 Summit League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on October 28–30 and November 5, 2022. The five match tournament took place at various campus sites. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits were the defending champions, but was unable to defend their title after losing to eventual champion Omaha in the semifinal match. This was Omaha's first ever Summit League women's soccer tournament title, and they earned the Summit League's automatic berth to the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
The 2022 Summit League women's soccer season started non-conference play on August 10, 2022, and began conference play on September 23, 2022. The regular season ended on October 23, 2022. The Summit League tournament began on October 28, 2022 and ended on November 5, 2022 with Omaha winning the championship game in penalties. The Mavericks then went on to the NCAA tournament and lost to Notre Dame.
The 2023 Summit League men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Summit League held on November 9 and 11, 2023. The three-match tournament took place at Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Denver Pioneers were the defending champions. Denver was unable to defended their title, falling to Kansas City in a penalty shoot-out in the First Round. Omaha would go on to defeat Kansas City in the Final 2–0 to become tournament champions. The tournament win was Omaha's second as a member of the conference, and the title was the first for head coach Donovan Dowling. As tournament champions, Omaha earned the Summit League's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
