The 2015 UCLA Bruins baseball team represented the University of California, Los Angeles in the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bruins competed in the Pac-12 Conference, and played their home games in Jackie Robinson Stadium. John Savage was in his eleventh season as head coach. The Bruins were coming off a season in which they were 25-30-1 (12-18 Pac-12), near the bottom of the Pac-12 Conference standings.
This season, the Bruins completed the regular season with a 42–14 record and were awarded the No. 1 seed in the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and as the host of the Los Angeles Regional. They played against the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners, and the Maryland Terrapins, beginning on May 29. They ended the season by losing the series to Maryland 1–2 in the final regional game.

The 2012 UCLA Bruins baseball team represented the University of California, Los Angeles in the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team was in the Pac-12 Conference, and played their home games in Jackie Robinson Stadium. John Savage was in his eighth season as head coach. On March 13, 2012, the Bruins participated in the Dodgertown Classic for the third year, defeating USC 7–2 in the non-conference event. The Bruins tied for first in the Pac-12 Conference with Arizona, finishing with a 20–10 conference record. Seven players were picked in the 2012 Major League Baseball draft.
The 2012 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona in the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Hi Corbett Field, off campus in Tucson, AZ. This was the first full season for the Wildcats at Hi Corbett Field, which is the former spring training home of the Cleveland Indians and Colorado Rockies. Andy Lopez was in his eleventh season as Arizona Wildcats baseball head coach. Lopez was in his twenty-fourth year as head coach. The Wildcats tied for first in the Pac-12 Conference with UCLA, finishing with a 20–10 conference record. The Wildcats finished the season with a 48–17 record. Six players were picked in the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.
The 2013 UCLA Bruins baseball team represented the University of California, Los Angeles in the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bruins competed in the Pac-12 Conference, and played their home games in Jackie Robinson Stadium. John Savage served as head coach for his 9th season. The Bruins swept through the NCAA tournament's Los Angeles Regional, Fullerton Super Regional, and College World Series bracket to reach the final against Mississippi State, their second appearance in four years. The Bruins swept the Bulldogs in a best of three series to win their first NCAA National Championship in baseball, while going a perfect 10–0 in the postseason; the third consecutive NCAA Division I baseball team to sweep the postseason en route to the championship, and also the last to do so.

The 2014 Maryland Terrapins baseball team represented the University of Maryland, College Park during the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Terrapins played their home games at Shipley Field, in their final season as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Maryland finished the regular season with a 34–19 record, including a 15–14 record in ACC play, finishing in a tie for second place in the ACC Atlantic Division standings, behind Florida State and tied with Clemson. Maryland earned a bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, where they were placed in the Charlottesville Super Regional, with South Carolina, Old Dominion, and Campbell in the Columbia Regional. Maryland defeated Old Dominion and South Carolina (twice) to advance to the Super Regional, where there lost two out of three games to eventual national runner-up Virginia.
