The 2015 WAC women's basketball tournament was held on March 11–14, 2015, at the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. This was the fourth consecutive year the WAC Tournament took place in Vegas.

The 2016–17 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners men's basketball team represented California State University, Bakersfield during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roadrunners, led by sixth-year head coach Rod Barnes, played their home games at the Icardo Center as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 25–10, 12–2 in WAC play to win the regular season WAC championship. They defeated Utah Valley to advance to the championship game of the WAC tournament where they lost to New Mexico State. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament. As a No. 8 seed, they defeated California, Colorado State, and Texas–Arlington to become the first No. 8 seed to advance to the semifinals since the NIT introduced seeding in 2006. In the semifinals at Madison Square Garden they lost to Georgia Tech.

The 2016–17 Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team represented Utah Valley University in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolverines, led by second-year head coach Mark Pope, played their home games at the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 17–17, 6–8 in WAC play to finish in fifth place. They defeated Seattle in the quarterfinals of the WAC tournament before losing in the semifinals to Cal State Bakersfield. They received an invitation to the College Basketball Invitational where they defeated Georgia Southern and Rice before losing in the semifinals to Wyoming.

The 2016 Western Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament is the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Western Athletic Conference to be held from November 3 to November 6, 2016. The five match tournament will be held at Durwood Soccer Stadium in Kansas City. The six team single-elimination tournament will consist of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions are the Utah Valley Wolverines, who defeated the Seattle Redhawks 2–0 in the 2015 tournament.

The 2017 WAC men's soccer tournament was the 10th edition of the tournament. It determined the Western Athletic Conference's automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The defending champions were the UNLV Rebels.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2018 Western Athletic Conference men's soccer season</span> Sports season

The 2018 Western Athletic Conference men's soccer season is the 23rd consecutive competition of men's college soccer in the Western Athletic Conference under the 2018 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The season will feature twelve teams, where five are affiliate members of the conference. Air Force, San Jose State, and UNLV will compete from the Mountain West Conference, while Houston Baptist and Incarnate Word come from the Southland Conference. Colleges in the WAC will begin competition on August 24, 2018, and conclude on November 9, 2018 after the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Prior to the NCAA Division I Tournament Championship, there will be a postseason conference tournament held in Seattle, Washington at the Championship Field, where the winner is guaranteed to represent the WAC in the NCAA Division I Tournament. The California Baptist Lancers are ineligible for postseason as they are in transition to the NCAA Division I level. Chicago State and New Mexico State have defunct programs in this season.

The Roadrunners were led by eighth-year head coach Rod Barnes and competed at the Icardo Center. CSU Bakersfield was a member of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 18–16, 7–9 in WAC play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the WAC tournament to Texas–Rio Grande Valley. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they defeated Cal State Fullerton in the first round to win the Riley Wallace Classic and defeated Southern Utah in the second round before losing in the quarterfinals to Green Bay.

The 2019 Western Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Western Athletic Conference held from November 6 to November 10, 2019. The five match tournament took place at Championship Field in Seattle, Washington on the campus of Seattle University. The defending champions were the Seattle Redhawks, who successfully defended their title, defeating Utah Valley 2–1 in the final.
