The 54th Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament, was a sport wrestling event held in Sofia, Bulgaria between 29 and 31 January 2016. [1] [2]
This international tournament includes competition in both men's and women's freestyle wrestling and men's Greco-Roman wrestling. This tournament is held in honor of Dan Kolov who was the first European freestyle wrestling champion from Bulgaria and European and World Champion Nikola Petroff. [3]
The event was air freely on the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation Live YouTube channel.

Doncho Kolev Danev, better known by the ring name Dan Kolov, was a Bulgarian professional wrestler born in Sennik, Bulgaria who was the first European freestyle wrestling champion from Bulgaria.
Taybe Mustafa Yusein is a Bulgarian wrestler. She competes in the 59 kg division and has won a total of six World championship medals, and eight European championship medals.
Bilyana Zhivkova Dudova is a Bulgarian freestyle wrestler. She won the gold medal in the women's 59 kg event at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships in Oslo, Norway.
