Carol Huynh is a Canadian freestyle wrestler. Huynh was the first gold medallist for Canada in women's wrestling and was the first gold medallist for Canada at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She is also the 2010 Commonwealth Games and two time Pan American Games champion. Success was also achieved at the world championships where Huynh has totaled one silver and three bronze medals. Huynh is also an eleven time national champion.
Haislan Veranes Garcia is a Canadian freestyle wrestler. Competing in the 65–66 kg division, he participated in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics; he reached quarter-finals in 2012, losing to the eventual champion Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu. Garcia competed at six world championships, beginning in 2009, and placed fifth in 2010. In 2015 he won a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. At the Pan American Championships he won silver medals in 2008 and 2009 and bronze medals in 2010 and 2011.
Damian Warner is a Canadian track and field athlete specializing in decathlon. He won the silver medal at the 2015 World Championships and was a bronze medalist at the 2013 and 2019 World Championships and at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Warner also was the Commonwealth champion from the Glasgow games and the two-time and reigning Pan American champion from the 2015 and 2019 Games. Warner also holds the title to the Pan Am Games record and the Canadian record for the decathlon. Notable for his sprinting, Warner holds decathlon bests in the 100 m and 110 m hurdles, running a 10.12 and 13.27 respectively.
Daniel Felipe Pineda Osorio is a Colombian male archer who competed individual event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Pineda won the bronze medal in the individual event of the 2011 Pan American Games. He competed at the 2015 World Archery Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Hilary Caldwell is a Canadian competition swimmer who trains in Victoria, British Columbia. She won a bronze medal in the 200 m backstroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Caldwell won a bronze medal in the same event at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships, as well as a bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the 200 back. Erica Elizabeth Wiebe is a wrestler competing for Canada. She is the reigning Olympic champion in women's 75 kg freestyle, winning gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She was the third Canadian champion ever in wrestling at the Olympics, and second Canadian woman to win gold after Carol Huynh. Wiebe is also the current Commonwealth Games champion in the same weight class, having won the gold medal at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Gold Coast, respectively.

Wrestling competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held from July 15 to 18 at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga.
