John Pineda (born July 2, 1982) is a Canadian freestyle wrestler. [1]

Career

Pineda won a bronze medal at the 2008 Pan American Championships. He participated in four World Wrestling Championships, finishing 13th in 2010 and 2013. In 2015, he won the bronze medal at the Grand Prix of Paris and a gold medal at the Gramma Cup in Havana. He was expected to compete at the 2015 Pan American Games but did not make weight and had to withdraw from the event. [2]

Damian Warner decathlete

Damian Warner is a Canadian track and field athlete specializing in decathlon. He won the silver medal at the 2015 World Championships and was a bronze medalist at the 2013 and 2019 World Championships and at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Warner also was the Commonwealth champion from the Glasgow games and the two-time and reigning Pan American champion from the 2015 and 2019 Games. Hilary Caldwell is a Canadian competition swimmer who trains in Victoria, British Columbia. She won a bronze medal in the 200 m backstroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Erica Elizabeth Wiebe is a wrestler competing for Canada. She is the reigning Olympic champion in women's 75 kg freestyle, winning gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She was the third Canadian champion ever in wrestling at the Olympics, and second Canadian woman to win gold after Carol Huynh. Wiebe is also the current Commonwealth Games champion in the same weight class, having won the gold medal at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Gold Coast, respectively.
