The 2016 World RX of Belgium was the third round of the third season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. [1] The event was held at the Circuit Jules Tacheny Mettet in Mettet, Wallonia and also played host to the second round of the 2016 FIA European Rallycross Championship.

The Circuit Jules Tacheny Mettet is a 2.310 km (1.435 mi) motorsport racing circuit in Mettet, Wallonia (Belgium), 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Charleroi. The circuit was finalized in 2010 near the old street circuit.
The FIA World Rallycross Championship is a rallycross series organised by the FIA in conjunction with series promoter Rallycross Promoter GmbH. From the inaugural season in 2014 to 2020, IMG Motorsport fulfilled the role of promoter.
