The 2017 Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship was the second edition of the competition held from 23 to 29 September 2017 at Uzbekistan Sports Complex in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). It was organised by the Handball Federation of Uzbekistan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the official competition for women's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions.

The EHF coefficient rank is a list made by European Handball Federation. The list is a result of the clubs of the EHF member federations' results in the EHF Champions League (CL), EHF Cup (EC), EHF Cup Winners' Cup (CWC) and EHF Challenge Cup (ChC) the past three seasons. Most national federations have five teams in the above-mentioned competitions. There are, however, differences between which competitions they qualify for and in which round they enter. If a national federation has more than one team in the same competition, they may enter the same competition in different rounds. For example, the national federations that have two teams in the women's Champions League: The national champions qualify directly for the group stage, while the runners-up start in the qualification round.

2017 Asian Womens Junior Handball Championship

The 2017 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship was the 14th edition of the championship organised by the Handball Association of Hong Kong China under the auspices of the Asian Handball Federation. It was held in Tsim Sha Tsui from 15 to 23 July 2017. It was played in under-19 years category. It was the first time that Hong Kong staged the competition. It also acts as qualification tournament for the IHF Women's Junior World Handball Championship. Top three teams i.e. South Korea, China and Japan qualified for the 2018 Women's Junior World Handball Championship to be held in Hungary.

The 2017 Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship was the 7th edition of the championship organised by the Indonesia Handball Association under the auspices of the Asian Handball Federation. It was held in Jakarta (Indonesia) from 20 to 28 August 2017 and was played by under-17 years players. It was the first time that Indonesia staged the competition. It also acts as qualification tournament for the IHF Women's Youth World Handball Championship. Top four teams will qualify for the 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Poland.

The 2019 Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship was the 4th edition of the Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship held from 16 to 22 June 2019 at Almaty, Kazakhstan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was third time in history that championship was organised in Kazakhstan by the Kazakhstan Handball Federation. It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2019 IHF Women's Super Globe with one quota place.
