The 2017 Northeastern Midget Association is the 65th season of the Northeastern Midget Association. The series began at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 1, and ends with the 55th World Series of Speedway Racing at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on October 14. Northeastern Midget Association sanctioning body of midget car racing

The Northeastern Midget Association (NEMA) is a sanctioning body of short track auto racing in the United States and is the oldest sanctioning body of midget car type open wheel racing in North America.

Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park

Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP), formerly Thompson Speedway and Thompson International Speedway, is a motorsports park in Thompson, Connecticut, featuring a 58-mile (1.0 km) paved oval racetrack and a 1.7-mile (2.7 km) road racing course. Once known as the "Indianapolis of the East", it was the first asphalt-paved racing oval track in the United States and is now under the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series banner. Each year Thompson hosts one of the great fall variety events "The World Series of Auto Racing" highlighted by the International Supermodified Association and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. This event frequently draws over 350 race cars in 16 separate divisions over three days.

The 2017 USAC National Midget Series is the 62th season of the USAC National Midget Series. The series began with the Shamrock Classic at Southern Illinois Center on March 18, and will end with the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway on November 23. The Boston Louie Memorial is a NEMA Light and Midget race held annually at Seekonk Speedway's Open Wheel Wednesday. The event headlines as two races, both 29 laps long in memorial of Louie's chosen car number as an owner. "Boston" Louie Seymour died on September 13, 1996.

2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series American stock car racing series

The 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 24th season of the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in North America. Christopher Bell entered as the defending champion, but he did not defend his championship, leaving his No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports entry to a number of drivers throughout the season, with Todd Gilliland covering the majority of the schedule in the truck. The series will rebrand in 2019, as sponsor Camping World Holdings will rebrand the series with their Gander Outdoors brand they acquired in 2017 for the 2019 season.
