The Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg is the regional parliament of Saint Petersburg, a federal subject of Russia. It was established in 1994, succeeding the Leningrad Council of People Deputies (Lensovet).
On 12 February 2011, Abkhazia held local elections for the 5th convocations of its local assemblies.
The 2013 Moscow mayoral election was held on September 8, 2013, as part of the regional elections, at the same time as the elections in Moscow Oblast and other Oblasts were held.
The elections for the 5th convocation of the Moscow City Duma took place on 11 October 2009. Out of the 35 deputies, 18 were elected through party lists using proportional representation, while the remaining 17 were elected from single-member constituencies. In order to secure seats in the City Duma through proportional representation, parties needed to surpass a 7% popular vote threshold. The term of office for the newly elected City Duma members is five years, which was extended from the previous four-year term.

Legislative elections were held in Russia from 17 to 19 September 2021. At stake were 450 seats in the 8th convocation of the State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly. Going into the elections, United Russia was the ruling party after winning the 2016 elections with 343 of the 450 seats, and retaining a supermajority. In March 2020, it was proposed to hold a snap election in September 2020 due to proposed constitutional reforms, but this idea was abandoned. On 18 June 2021 Vladimir Putin signed a decree calling the election for 19 September the same year. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia, voting in the election lasted for three days, from 17 to 19 September. Final turnout was reported to be 51.72%.
Oksana Genrikhovna Dmitriyeva is a Russian politician and economist, who currently serves as a deputy of the State Duma since 2021, having previously served in the position from 1993 to 2016. A former government minister in the administration of Boris Yeltsin, she is the most senior member of the Party of Growth in the national legislature and was so in her local legislature.

Election to the 7th convocation of the Moscow City Duma took place on the United Voting Day on 8 September 2019. The elections were held under first-past-the-post voting system, which saw 45 deputies being elected in their respective single-member districts amidst the 2019 Moscow protests, which saw huge rallies in support of independent opposition candidates. The term of the new Duma will be five years.
The Nyonoksa radiation accident, Arkhangelsk explosion or Nyonoksa explosion occurred on 8 August 2019 near Nyonoksa, a village under the administrative jurisdiction of Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russian Federation. Five military and civilian specialists were killed and three were injured.

Moreover, at the same time elections of single deputy to House of Representatives of National Assembly were held in Gomel-Navabielicki 36 electoral district where government-favoured candidate was removed from elections just before 2012 parliamentary election, and the only candidate left did not receive enough support.
28th Convocation Republic of Belarus deputies to Local Councils of Deputies elections are elections to Belarus Local Councils to Deputies elections conducted on 18 February 2018. Electoral campaign started in November 2017. Citizens of the respective administrative subdivision elect the council for a term of four years under procedure set within the Electoral Code of Republic of Belarus.

The Arkhangelsk constituency is a Russian legislative constituency in Arkhangelsk Oblast. In 1993-2007 the constituency covered the entirety of Arkhangelsk as well as Severodvinsk and northern Arkhangelsk Oblast. During redistricting in 2016, the constituency lost parts of Arkhangelsk, as well as several districts to the east, to Kotlas constituency but gained the entirety of western Arkhangelsk Oblast.
The Pikul housein Severodvinsk is a wooden two-story building at the intersection of Industrialnaya and Polyarnaya streets. The house is famous for the fact that future famous Soviet writer Valentin Savvich Pikul lived in it in 1940–1941.
The 2023 Assembly of Deputies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug election took place on 8–10 September 2023, on common election day, coinciding with 2023 Arkhangelsk Oblast Assembly of Deputies election. All 19 seats in the Assembly of Deputies were up for reelection.
