The Japan national futsal team represents Japan in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Japan Football Association. It is one of the strongest teams in Asia, the champions in the 2006, 2012 and 2014 Asian Futsal Championships. Japan has also played in five FIFA Futsal World Cups.
The "Damien Knabben Cup" Futsal Invitational Tournament in Taipei, or simply Damien Knabben Cup, is an invitational futsal tournament held by Taipei Futsal Association. It started from 2006, under the name Taipei International Invitational Futsal Tournament. In 2007, it was renamed to Damien Knabben Cup in remembrance of Damien Knabben, late manager of Chinese Taipei national futsal team who died on April 2, 2006.

The Japan women's national under-17 football team is a national association football youth team of Japan and is controlled by the Japan Football Association.
Japan competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. Since the nation's official debut in 1912, Japanese athletes had appeared at every Summer Olympic Games in the modern era, except for two editions; they were not invited to the 1948 Summer Olympics in London because of the nation's role in World War II, and were also part of the United States-led boycott, when Moscow hosted the 1980 Summer Olympics.
The 2018 AFC Futsal Championship was the 15th edition of the AFC Futsal Championship, the biennial international futsal championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's national teams of Asia. The AFC appointed Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan as hosts on 29 July 2017; the tournament took place between 1 and 11 February 2018 at Xinzhuang Gymnasium and University of Taipei Gymnasium. A total of 16 teams played in the tournament.
The 2010 AFC U-16 Championship was an international under-16 age group football tournament held in Uzbekistan from 24 October until 7 November 2010. The sixteen national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of maximum 23 players; only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

The 2019 AFC Futsal Club Championship was an international futsal tournament held in Thailand from 7 to 17 August 2019. The 16 clubs involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 14 players, minimum two of whom must be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.
This article lists the squads for the 2010 AFC Women's Asian Cup, the 17th edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup. The tournament is a quadrennial women's international football tournament for national teams in Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and was held in China from 19 to 30 May 2010. In the tournament there were involved eight national teams. Each national team registered a final squad of 23 players.
The 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup will be an under-23 international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation, taking place in Uzbekistan between 1–19 June 2022. The sixteen national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 23 players, including at least three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the competition. The tournament exclusively requires players to be born on or after 1 January 1999 to be eligible.
