Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific oceans. Jemaah Islamiyah is a Southeast Asian militant extremist Islamist terrorist group based in Indonesia, which is dedicated to the establishment of an Islamic state in Southeast Asia. On 25 October 2002, immediately following the JI-perpetrated Bali bombing, JI was added to the UN Security Council Resolution 1267 as a terrorist group linked to Al-Qaeda or the Taliban.

Angelique Widjaja is a retired Indonesian professional tennis player. She won the junior championships at Wimbledon in 2001, defeating Dinara Safina. She reached a peak of No. 55 in the WTA singles rankings in March 2003, and a peak of No. 15 in the doubles rankings in February 2004. She retired in 2008.

Bali United Football Club is a professional football club based in Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. The club competes in the Liga 1, the top tier of Indonesian football. Bali United emerged in 2015 as the result of the total rebranding of Indonesia Super League club Putra Samarinda after its new owner relocated the club to Gianyar from Samarinda, East Kalimantan. In 2018 Commonwealth Games held at Gold Coast, Australia, He won gold in men's team event with Sharath Kamal, Anthony Amalraj, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran & Sanil Shetty and bronze in Men's doubles event with Sanil Shetty. Harmeet Desai won the men's singles title at Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships 2019 at Cuttak,India defeated favorite Sathiyan Gnanasekaran in a hard-fought final to claim the men's singles title. He has been honoured with the Arjuna Award by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in 2019.

Rossy Pratiwi Dipoyanti Syechbubakar or better known as Rossy Pratiwi Dipoyanti or Rossy Syechbubakar is an Indonesian table tennis player who collected 13 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 8 bronze medals during her career throughout the year 1987-2001 at the Southeast Asian Games. In addition, she also managed to collect 7 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 9 bronze medals during her career throughout the year 1985-2008 at the National Sports Week. The highest achievement of her career at table tennis was when she was ranked 17th in the women's singles and women's doubles with Ling Ling Agustin at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.

Ubud Writers & Readers Festival Indonesian literary festival

Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (UWRF), styled Ubud Writers & Readers Festival and commonly called Ubud Writers Festival, is an annual literary festival held at Ubud, on the island of Bali in Indonesia. It is organised by the not-for-profit foundation Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati.

The 2019 Asian Table Tennis Championships were held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia from 15 to 22 September 2019. Around 128 males and 100 females table tennis players competed in the singles, doubles and team events.

The South East Asian Table Tennis Championships is a biennial table tennis tournament regarded as a regional championships by International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). From 1998, the tournament was organised by the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) and South East Asian Table Tennis Association(SEATTA).

The 2016 South East Asian Table Tennis Championships were held in Makassar, Indonesia from 21 to 24 December 2016.
