The Harvard Crimson baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball team of Harvard University, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The program has been a member of the Ivy League since the conference officially began sponsoring baseball at the start of the 1993 season. The team plays at Joseph J. O'Donnell Field, located across the Charles River from Harvard's main campus. Bill Decker has been the program's head coach since the 2013 season.

The team played its home games in Boston, Massachusetts at the Lavietes Pavilion, which has a capacity of 2,195. The team was led by fourth-year head coach Tommy Amaker. By earning a share of the 2010–11 Ivy League men's basketball season title, the team became the first men's basketball Ivy League champion in school history. This was the 100th season for Harvard basketball.
The 2010–11 Ivy League men's basketball season marks the continuation of the annual tradition of competitive basketball among Ivy League members that began when the league was formed during the 1956–57 season, continuing from the predecessor Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball League, which was formed in 1902. Following the annual 14-game round robin home & home schedule, Harvard and Princeton tied as co-champion. Princeton earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament in a one-game playoff. Harvard was invited to the 2011 National Invitation Tournament. Both teams lost their first tournament games.

The top two finishers from the round-robin regular season participate in a best of three series held at campus sites, with the winner earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. In 2022, Columbia defeated Penn in three games. The event was canceled for 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Brett Boretti is an American college baseball coach who has been the head coach of Columbia since the start of the 2006 season. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Division III Franklin & Marshall from 2001 to 2005. As a head coach, Boretti has led teams to four NCAA Tournaments, three of them in Division I.

It was first held in 2017, and is held alongside the Ivy women's tournament, also introduced in 2017, at the same venue. The overall event is currently marketed as Ivy Madness. The Ivy League was the last NCAA Division I conference without a postseason tournament.
The Ivy League women's basketball tournament is the conference tournament in basketball for the Ivy League, and is held alongside the Ivy League men's tournament at the same venue. The overall event is currently marketed as Ivy Madness. As with the men's tournament, the women's event is a single-elimination tournament involving the top four schools in the standings. The tournament format consists of two semifinal games on the first day (Saturday), with the No. 1 seed playing the No. 4 seed and the No. 2 seed playing the No. 3 seed, followed by the championship game played the next day (Sunday). The tournament winner receives the League's automatic bids to the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. The teams that finish with the best records from the 14-game, regular-season conference schedule will continue to be recognized as Ivy League champions.
The 2017 NCAA Division I softball tournament was held from May 18 through June 7, 2017, as the final part of the 2017 NCAA Division I softball season. The 64 participating NCAA Division I college softball teams were selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 14, 2017. Thirty-two teams were awarded automatic bids as champions of their conferences, and the remaining 32 were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I softball selection committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2017 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma would repeat as National Champions, defeating Florida in 2 games and 17 innings in the first game. Oklahoma became the lowest seeded team to ever win the National Championship, winning as the 10 seed.

They played their home games at the Lavietes Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts and were led by 12th-year head coach Tommy Amaker. They finished the season 19-12, 10-4 to tie for first place. As the No. 1 seed in the Ivy Tournament, they defeated Penn in the semifinals before losing to Yale in the final. They received an automatic bid to the NIT where they defeated Georgetown in the first round before losing in the second round to NC State.

Mississippi State defeated Vanderbilt in the best-of-three final series to win their first national championship in program history.

The Tigers won the 2023 Ivy League women's basketball tournament, their fourth championship title, and earned an automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, the team's tenth appearance. They lost to Utah in the Second Round.
The 2022 Ivy League baseball season was the baseball season for the Ivy League as part of the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. Penn and Columbia were regular season co-champions; however, Columbia defeated Penn in the Championship Series to receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
