The 2019 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament was the men's volleyball tournament for the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association held during the 2019 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It was held April 13 through April 20, 2019 at campus sites. The winner received the Association's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.

The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos are the intercollegiate athletic teams who represent the University of California, Santa Barbara. Referred to in athletic competition as UC Santa Barbara or UCSB, the Gauchos participate in 19 NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports with the majority competing in the Big West Conference. UCSB currently fields varsity teams in 10 men's sports and 9 women's sports.

The Illinois Men's Volleyball Club is a registered student organization at the University of Illinois that plays men's volleyball. This team is composed of students from the University of Illinois and is designated as a club team because the University does not have a varsity men's volleyball team. The club is based at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and is a member of the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. The club is divided into three teams divided according to level of competitiveness. All teams in the club compete only in tournaments and there are no lone matches unless they are specially scheduled. The Illinois Men's Volleyball Club was established in 1984 and quickly became one of the top collegiate men's club volleyball teams in the nation. The team has been ranked among the top ten club teams in the nation since 1997. The club placed third in the nation in 2003, 2005, and 2007 and second in 2004. Additionally, the Illinois Men's Volleyball Club hosts an annual tournament in Champaign, Illinois called the Illini 16 and co-hosts the Hoosier-Illini Classic with Indiana University. Additionally, the club hosted an exhibition match for the Blue and Orange teams for the first time in 2008. The Blue team played Purdue University while the Orange team played Illinois State University.

Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons athletic program of Purdue University Fort Wayne

The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, formerly known as the IPFW Mastodons and Fort Wayne Mastodons, are the athletic teams of Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). The Mastodons compete as a NCAA Division I school in the Summit League for most sports and in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association for men's volleyball. In July 2020, PFW will leave the Summit League for the Horizon League; this will not affect the school's MIVA membership. The official announcement of this move noted that PFW will be near the geographic center of its new league, with an average distance of 170 miles (270 km) from the other members. The university participates in 16 men’s and women’s sports. Before joining NCAA Division I athletics, IPFW competed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the NCAA Division II.

Lindenwood Lions

The Lindenwood Lions and Lady Lions are the intercollegiate athletic teams of Lindenwood University, located in St. Charles, Missouri. The school is primarily a member of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference, although women's ice hockey and gymnastics and men's volleyball compete in NCAA Division I. The Lions joined the NCAA and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) in the summer of 2013, after completing the transition process from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC). On October 4, 2018, Lindenwood announced it would be leaving the MIAA for the Great Lakes Valley Conference effective July 1, 2019.

Maciej "Matt" Zbyszewski is a male beach volleyball and volleyball player and coach from Canada who won the silver medal at the NORCECA Circuit 2009 at Puerto Vallarta playing with Josh Binstock.

Michigan State University Men's Club Volleyball was founded in 1989. It is currently a part of MIVA, and competes in the NCVF National Championships. The club currently has four teams, Green, White, Posse, and Greenhorns who all practice in the IM West Sports Arena on the campus of Michigan State University. The Green team is coached by Sante Perrelli. The club also hosts the Back to the Hardwood Classic which is the biggest preseason tournament in the country.

Lewis Flyers

The Lewis Flyers are the athletic teams that represent Lewis University, located in Romeoville, Illinois, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Flyers compete as members of the East Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference for all sports except men's volleyball, which is a member of the Division I Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. Since it is not a sponsored sport at the Division II level, the men's volleyball team is the only program that plays in Division I. Lewis joined the GLVC in 1980.

The NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament is an annual event that leads to the championship in women's volleyball from teams in Division I contested by the NCAA each winter since 1981. Stanford won the most recent tournament, defeating Wisconsin 3-0 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

2016 NCAA Mens National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament football tournament season

The 2016 NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament was the 47th annual tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I and Division II men's collegiate indoor volleyball. The single elimination tournament was played at Rec Hall in University Park, Pennsylvania from May 3–7, 2016.

2017 NCAA National Collegiate Mens Volleyball Tournament football tournament season

The 2017 NCAA National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament was the 48th edition of the NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Championship, open to teams from both Division I and II. The tournament was held May 2, 4, & 6 at St. John Arena in Columbus, Ohio, hosted by Ohio State University. The Ohio State Buckeyes won their second consecutive National Championship and fourth overall.

The winner receives The Association's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.

The 2019 Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament was the men's volleyball tournament for the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association during the 2019 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It was held April 18 through April 20, 2019 at Princeton University's Dillon Gymnasium. The winner received The Association's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
