The New England Black Wolves are a lacrosse team based in Uncasville, Connecticut playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2019 season will be the team's 5th season in the league.
The New England Black Wolves are a professional box lacrosse team based in Uncasville, Connecticut. They are members of the National Lacrosse League and began play in the winter of 2014–2015 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. The team is partially owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut, and partially owned by Brad Brewster.
Uncasville is an area in the town of Montville, Connecticut, United States. It is a village in southeastern Montville, at the mouth of the Oxoboxo River. The name is now applied more generally to all of the east end of Montville, which is the area served by the Uncasville ZIP Code.
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. Headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, the NLL currently has thirteen teams: eight in the United States and five in Canada. The NLL ranks third in average attendance for pro indoor sports worldwide, behind only the NHL and NBA. Unlike other box lacrosse leagues which play in the summer, the NLL plays its games in the winter and spring, from December to June. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the National Lacrosse League Cup. The NLL has averaged between 9,800 and 10,700 spectators per game each year since 2004.

David "Big Daddy" Brock is a professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. He played college lacrosse at the University at Albany, and was selected seventh overall in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft by the Boston Blazers. Brock played two games with the blazers in 2011, before being released. He then signed with the Philadelphia Wings, with whom he spent two seasons, before being traded to the Bandits in 2012. Greg "GD" Downing is a professional lacrosse player with the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse and with the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. He was selected to participate in the 2008 and 2009 MLL All-Star Games. |
Callum Crawford is a Canadian lacrosse player who plays for the New England Black Wolves in the National Lacrosse League. He has played for the Edmonton Rush, Calgary Roughnecks, San Jose Stealth, and the Chicago Shamrox during his career. He is also the founder of the Ottawa Capitals Lacrosse club Stephan Leblanc is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League.
