The 2019 Queensland Handball League was a Brisbane based championship for Handball.

The University Competition is the only competition currently finished. This was played during the National Championships on the Gold Coast. The University of Queensland won over University of the Sunshine Coast. Bond University was third. [1]

The school tournament was played in October. The Senior Boys division was won by Cavendish Road State High School. Junior boys was won by Redlands College. [2] The Junior & Senior girls tournament was merged. The winner was Brisbane State High School.

University of Queensland Handball Club

The University of Queensland Handball Club is based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The club has been affiliated with the University of Queensland since 1992. The club fields both men's and women's team in the Brisbane Handball League. Many players are international University of Queensland students but the club is open to non-students also. The club mascot is the UQ Tiger.

The 2014 Queensland Handball League is a Brisbane based championship for Handball. It is a home and away structure conducted in March to May 2014, with the winning team qualifying for the National Club Championship.

The 2015 Australian National Handball Championship is split into three stages. Stage one was held in Brisbane early August for Under 21 & Under 18 titles. Stage two in Canberra mid August for the Youth Championships. Stage three will be in Perth during October for the Open titles.

The 2016 Football Queensland season was the fourth season since NPL Queensland commenced as the top tier of Queensland men’s football. Below NPL Queensland is a regional structure of ten zones with their own leagues. The strongest of the zones is Football Brisbane with its senior men’s competition consisting of five divisions.

The Australian National Handball Championship consists of four different tournaments across various age groups, including a Junior Section, Schools Tournament, and Australian University Games. In 2016, the Championship ran from 31 August until 9 October.

The competition was not held due to a combined Queensland team called the Brisbane Wolves competing in the 2016 Australian Handball Club Championship, 2016 Oceania Handball Champions Cup and the 2016 Australian Handball League.

The 2019 Women's Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy was held in New Caledonia from 11 to 16 August 2019.

The 2019 Women's Oceania Youth Handball Championship was held in New Caledonia from 11 to 16 August 2019.
