The 2019 Shillong Premier League [2] [3] was 10th season of Shillong Premier League, the top-tier football league in Shillong, a city in Indian state of Meghalaya. Langsning F.C. was defending champions. The league commenced from 20 August 2019. It was also known as Officers Choices Blue Shillong Premier League due to sponsorship reasons.

Competition format (2019)

Regular season

The 10th season of Shillong Premier League has been restructured. [7] The competition consists of 12 rounds that follows a double round-robin format, with each club playing the others twice, at SSA Stadium, First Ground, Polo, for a total of 12 matches each. Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw, and no points for a loss. There are no play-offs and the team which tops the table wins the league and the bottom two teams gets related. [8]

The position of each team is determined by the highest number of points accumulated during the regular season. If two or more teams are level on points, the following criteria are applied in order until one of the teams can be determined as the higher ranked
