The 2019 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 122nd season of the top state-level football league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The season kicked off on 26 July 2019. It had two sub-divisions: CFL Premier Division A and CFL Premier Division B. [1] [2] [3]
Peerless scripted history as they become the only club outside the Big Three—Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, & Mohammedan—to win the Championship in 61 years. [4] Eastern Railway did the same back in 1958.

The Calcutta Football League (CFL) is a ladder-based football competition in the Indian state of West Bengal, organised by Indian Football Association (WB) as part of the state leagues. It is the oldest football league in Asia.
Biswajit Bhattacharya is a retired Indian professional footballer and football manager. He most recently managed Calcutta Football League club Calcutta Customs and is the current head coach of West Bengal football team.
Bhawanipore Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Bhowanipore, Kolkata, West Bengal. The 2018 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 121st season of the CFL Premier Division, a state association football league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The league is divided into two groups – Division A and Division B. The Championship title is awarded only to the Division A winner, while four teams from Division A are relegated to Division B at the end of the season and four teams from Division B are simultaneously promoted to Division A for the next season. The fixtures of Division A and Division B started on 3 and 5 August 2018, respectively.

They were crowned Champions in the I-League and reached the semifinals of the Sheikh Kamal Cup where they were defeated by Terengganu.

The matches were played across three locations in West Bengal, namely Kolkata, Howrah and Kalyani from 2 August 2019. The final took place at the Salt Lake Stadium on 24 August 2019.
