The 2021 Calcutta Football League Premier Division A was the 123rd season of the top state-level football league of West Bengal. It was held between mid-August and November 2021. [1] [2] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to cancel Calcutta League last season, [3] but it was played this year. [4] [5]

The 2016 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 118th season of the CFL Premier Division, a state league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The league is divided into two groups – Group A and Group B. The Championship title is awarded only to the Group A winner, while four teams from Group A are relegated to Group B at the end of the season and 4 teams from Group B are simultaneously promoted to Group A for the next season. The fixtures of Group A kicked off on 27 July 2016, and of Group B on 16 July 2016.

The 2019 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 122nd season of the top state-level football league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The season kicked off on 26 July 2019. It had two sub-divisions: CFL Premier Division A and CFL Premier Division B.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant Reserves and Academy is the reserve team and youth system of the Indian Super League side Mohun Bagan Super Giant. The U-21 and the reserve teams are generally referred to as last stage of progression for promotion of academy and young players into the senior squad. The reserve team formed of the various youth team players participates in the Calcutta Football League, along with the number of senior team players. Youth teams also participate in the Reliance Foundation Development League and the AIFF Elite League. The concept for an youth team was conceived and materialised under the leadership of Balai Das Chattopadhyay in 1944.

The 2020–21 ATK Mohun Bagan FC season was the club's 1st season in Indian Super League and 131st season since its establishment in 1889. The club under a merged company competed in ISL, one of the top flights of Indian football, as well as in the AFC Cup.

The 2021–22 season was the 102nd season of Sporting Club East Bengal and their second season in the Indian Super League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021–22 Indian Super League season began on 19 November 2021 and ended on 20 March 2022 with all the matches held in Goa across three venues just like the previous season.

The 2021–22 Mohun Bagan season was the club's 2nd season in Indian Super League and 132nd season since its establishment in 1889. The club though initially participated in the Calcutta Football League, later withdrew before the start of their campaign.

BSS Sporting Club is a professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Founded in 2015, the club competes in CFL Premier Division, the top-tier football league in West Bengal organised by Indian Football Association, football governing body of West Bengal.

The 2022–23 season was the 103rd season of East Bengal Football Club and their third season in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The Indian football season started in August and ended in April. During the season, East Bengal competed in the Durand Cup and got eliminated in the group stage, they finished fourth in the Calcutta Football League, had a ninth-place finish in the Indian Super League and got eliminated in the group stage of the Super Cup.

The 2022 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 124th overall season of the two highest state-level football divisions of West Bengal. The division consists of two tiers within it: Premier Division A and Premier Division B.

The 2023 CFL Premier Division is the 125th overall season of the Calcutta Football League – highest state-level football divisions of West Bengal. The 2023 edition saw two top tiers merged, with 26 teams participating in the tournament for the first time since its inception.
