The Antrim County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association or Antrim GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The county board is also responsible for the Antrim county teams.
The Antrim Senior Hurling Championship is an annual club hurling competition organised by the Antrim County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It is contested by the top-ranking senior clubs in the county of Antrim, Northern Ireland, with the winners decided through a group and knockout format. It is the most prestigious competition in Antrim hurling.
The Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the champion hurling teams in the province of Ulster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious club competition in Ulster hurling.
Loughgiel Shamrocks GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Loughgiel/Loughguile in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. They are currently the only club in Ulster to have won an All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, which they first won in 1983. They repeated the feat by defeating Coolderry from Offaly by 4-13 to 0-17 in the All Ireland Club Hurling Final on 17 March 2012. On Sunday 29 September 2013, they achieved their first four in a row of Antrim Senior Hurling Championships by beating Cushendall, in the first final to be staged outside Casement Park since 1990.
The 1982–83 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 13th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, an inter-county knockout competition for Ireland's top championship clubs representing each county. The championship was won by Loughgiel Shamrocks of Antrim, who beat St. Rynagh's of Offaly by 2–12 to 1–12 after a replay in the final. This marked the first occasion in which an Ulster side won an All-Ireland hurling title at senior grade. To date, no Ulster team has managed to add to this achievement.

O'Donovan Rossa GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Belfast, County Antrim. The club is a member of the Antrim GAA and currently fields teams in Hurling, Gaelic football, Camogie and Handball. The club is named after Irish patriot and revolutionary Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa and one of the club founders was Joe McKelvey.

Páirc Mac Uílín is a Gaelic Athletic Association playing field in Ballycastle, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is the home of the McQuillan GAC Ballycastle club, one of the most successful teams in the county. The grounds have two full size pitches, floodlight facilities, a training area, a Hurling wall as well as multi-purpose clubrooms. The club also has a wind turbine installed on site.

The final was contested by Loughgiel Shamrocks of Antrim and Coolderry of Offaly, with Loughgiel Shamrocks winning by 4-13 to 0-17.

The final was contested by Loughgiel Shamrocks of Antrim and St. Rynagh's of Offaly, with the game ending in a 1-8 to 2-5 draw. The replay took place at Casement Park on 24 April 1983. Loughgiel Shamrocks won that game by 2-12 to 1-12.

The 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. It was the first club championship to be completed in two years as the 2020–21 Championship was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The championship began on 27 November 2021 and ended on 12 February 2022.
