The 2020 Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships was held from February 26–20, 2020 at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center in Bloomington, Indiana. It was the 113th [1] annual Big Ten-sanctioned swimming and diving championship meet. [2]

Dennis "Denny" Hill is a hall-of-fame swim coach who coached at Pioneer High School for 46 years. During this tenure as coach, Pioneer High School won 31 Michigan High School State Swim Championships and 9 National Dual Meet Championships. The combined teams' overall dual meet record was 1011-128-2 (567-90 for the men and 444-38-2 for the women. The swim program produced 245 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association All-American Swimmers for a total of 862 All-American awards. Denny's wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Hill began coaching with him in 1983 and became co-head coach of the Pioneer men's and women's swim teams in 2005. They both retired from coaching the women's team in 2010 and the men's team in 2014.

Andrew Hammond Seliskar is a retired American competitive swimmer. He won the gold medal in the 200 meter butterfly at the 2013 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai, breaking the Championships record.

William Andrew Licon is an American competitive swimmer who specializes in breaststroke and medley events. He previously competed for the professional team LA Current in the International Swimming League. Licon is a three-time World Championship medalist, a two-time Pan American Games gold medalist and has been a member of the United States national team since 2015. He is the current American record-holder and former NCAA & US Open record-holder in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Tomer Frankel is an Israeli Olympic swimmer. He is the former European junior champion in the 100m freestyle and the 4 × 200m freestyle, and competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Frankel is representing Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Paris La Défense Arena in the 100 metre freestyle, 100 metre butterfly, 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay, and 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay on July 27 and 30-31, and August 2-3, 2024.

Seth Stubblefield is an American retired competitive swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly. He is a gold medalist in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay from the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju.

Jacob Ryan Mitchell is an American swimmer and Olympian. He placed eighth in the 400 meter freestyle at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Kevin Patrick Callan is a retired American competitive swimmer. In 2017, he won a silver medal in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay at the 2017 World Junior Championships. In 2020, he won silver medals in the 200-meter freestyle and the 400-meter freestyle at the year's U.S. Open Championships. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Callan was part of the 4×200-meter freestyle relay that took fourth place. At the 2023 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, he won a bronze medal in the 4×200-yard freestyle relay. He has a younger brother, Christopher Jack Callan, who currently swims at the University of Michigan.

Gal Cohen Groumi is an Israeli Olympic swimmer. At the 2017 European Youth Olympics he won two silver medals in medley relay, at the 2018 European Junior Swimming Championships he won a gold medal in the 4×200 m freestyle relay, and at the 2019 European Junior Swimming Championships he won a bronze medal in the 200m IM. At the 2024 European Championships Mixed 4×100 metre medley relay he won a gold medal. Cohen Groumi is representing Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Paris La Défense Arena in the 100 metre butterfly, 4×100 metre freestyle relay, 4×200 metre freestyle relay, and Mixed 4×100 metre medley relay on July 27, July 30, and August 2-3, 2024.

Josh Matheny is an American competitive swimmer specializing in breaststroke events. He is a world junior record holder in the 4×100 meter mixed medley relay. He won the gold medal and the national title in the 100 meter breaststroke at the 2022 US National Championships. At the 2019 World Junior Championships, he won gold medals in the 200 meter breaststroke and 4×100 meter mixed medley relay as well as silver medals in the 100 meter breaststroke and 4×100 meter medley relay. He competes collegiately for Indiana University.

Maxwell McHugh is an American competitive swimmer specializing in breaststroke events. In 2021, he won two NCAA Division I titles at the year's championships, one in the 100 yard breaststroke and one in the 200 yard breaststroke. At the 2022 NCAA Division I Championships, he won the NCAA title in the 100 yard breaststroke. In 2023, he won a third-consecutive title in the 100 yard breaststroke at the NCAA Division I Championships for the year. He competed collegiately for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
