The Hungarian Figure Skating Championships are held annually to crown the national champions of Hungary. Skaters compete in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance at the senior, junior, and novice levels, although not every discipline is held every year due to a lack of participants. Beginning with the 2013–14 figure skating season, the Hungarian Figure Skating Championships have been held as part of the Four Nationals Championships along with the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. Skaters from the four countries compete together and the results are split at the end of the competition to form national podiums.
Michal Březina is a retired Czech figure skater. He is the 2013 European bronze medalist, 2011 Skate America champion, 2009 World Junior silver medalist and four-time Czech national champion. He also won the 2014-15 ISU Challenger Series. Michal represented the Czech Republic at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics.

The 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix was a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union that were held from August 2022 through December 2022. Skaters earned points based on their placement at each event and the top six in each discipline qualified to compete at the 2022–23 Junior Grand Prix Final in Turin, Italy.
