Ashleigh Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 7–6(7–1), 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2019 Miami Open. It was Barty's first WTA Premier Mandatory title. She entered the top 10 in the WTA rankings for the first time with the win.

Coco Gauff defeated Jeļena Ostapenko in the final, 6–3, 1–6, 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2019 Linz Open. It was her first WTA Tour title. Aged 15 years and 7 months, Gauff became the youngest WTA Tour singles titlist since Nicole Vaidišová in 2004. Gauff was a lucky loser, only receiving a spot in the main draw because Maria Sakkari withdrew shortly before her first round match. Gauff became only the third player in WTA history to win a tournament as a lucky loser, and the first since Olga Danilović won the 2018 Moscow River Cup.

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Petra Kvitová in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2020 WTA Qatar Open.

Garbiñe Muguruza defeated Barbora Krejčíková in the final, 7–6(8–6), 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis event at the 2021 Dubai Tennis Championships. Muguruza dropped just one set during the tournament, to Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals.

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Ashleigh Barty in the final, 6–0, 3–6, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Madrid Open. It was her 10th career WTA Tour singles title, and her first on clay.
