At the conclusion of the championship, Gross and Mõlder won their fifth and last championship title. They were driving with Ford Fiesta WRC for OT Racing.

A municipality is the smallest administrative subdivision of Estonia. Each municipality is a unit of self-government with its representative and executive bodies. The municipalities in Estonia cover the entire territory of the country.

Ott Tänak is an Estonian rally driver and the 2019 World Rally Champion. He is currently teamed with Martin Järveoja and is set to compete for Hyundai Motorsport in 2024.
Rally Estonia is a rallying event organised each year in Estonia. It is the largest and most high-profile motorsport event in the country and runs on smooth gravel roads in the south of the country, some of which are purpose-built for the rally. The city of Tartu hosts the ceremonial start and finish, with the rally headquarters and service park usually based in the Estonian National Museum in Tartu. Alexey Vasilyevich Lukyanuk is a Russian rally driver, two-times European Rally Champion (2018) and (2020), a master of rally sports, the overall Champion of Russia and Estonia, the only holder of nine times Colin McRae Flat Out Trophy. From 2009 his co-driver is Aleksey Arnautov.

The 2019 Rally Estonia was a motor racing event for rally cars that was held over three days between 12 and 14 July 2019. It marked the ninth running of Rally Estonia. The event consisted of fifteen special stages totalling 151.98 km (94.44 mi) in competitive kilometres. The stages were run on smooth gravel roads of Southern Estonia. Two street stages were also held during the rally, in Tartu and in Elva. Rally headquarters and service park were based in Otepää, at the Tehvandi Sports Center, while city of Tartu hosted the ceremonial start and finish.

Joel Tammeka is a retired rally driver from Estonia. Tammeka is one of the few racing drivers in the Baltic states who has achieved good results competing in Dakar rally. In 1991 Dakar rally he became third in the truck class driving with Kamaz. Tammeka still holds the record for the best overall result in a truck class in the Baltics as well as for an Estonian driver.
