The 2021 LEN Men's European Junior Water Polo Championships , took place between 12 and 19 September 2021, in Malta. It was the the third time that Malta had hosted the event, after previously hosting it in 2007 and 2017.

The 2011 World Women's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the international championship tournament in women's Team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Brazil hosted the event from 2-18 December 2011.
The 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was held from 9 to 17 August 2017. Matches were held in two cities: at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna and Muntinlupa Sports Complex in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila.
