Nagoya Grampus; formerly known as Nagoya Grampus Eight is a Japanese association football club that plays in the J1 League, and have for all but one season since the inauguration of the league, following promotion from the J2 League in 2017. Based in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture and founded as the company team of the Toyota Motor Corp. in 1939, the club shares its home games between Mizuho Athletic Stadium and the much larger Toyota Stadium in the suburb of Toyota.

The Aonami Line is a third-sector commuter railway line in the city of Nagoya operated by the Nagoya Rinkai Rapid Transit. Officially called the Nishi-Nagoyakō Line, it connects Nagoya Station with Kinjō-futō Station, and was a freight branch line of Tokaido Main Line, converted for passenger usage in October 2004. The Aonami Line is used as the main rapid transit access to Legoland Japan Resort since its opening in 2017, due to the resort's proximity to the line's terminus at Kinjō-futō.

Nagoya Racecourse is located in Yatomi, Aichi, Japan, and runs under National Association of Racing. It is a 1100-meter dirt oval with 193.5m stretch. It is also commonly known as Donko Racecourse, after the surrounding district. In 2017 it was announced that the Nagoya Racecourse would move from its original location in Nagoya and move to a new location in Yatomi. In March 11, 2022, the old Nagoya Racecourse held its last race before moving to Yatomi. On March 22, 2002, the new racecourse was formally opened, with races being officially held starting from April 8.

Genzei Nippon is a regional political party based in Nagoya, Japan and led by the mayor of Nagoya, Takashi Kawamura. The party was formed by Kawamura in April 2010. After briefly holding several seats in the national legislature, the party merged at the national level with the Tomorrow Party of Japan in November 2012. Genzei Nippon remained a separate party at the regional level and has been active within Aichi Prefecture. As well as Kawamura, the party has twelve members serving on the Nagoya city council.

The 2020 Nagoya Grampus season was Nagoya Grampus' 3rd season back in the J1 League following their relegation at the end of the 2016 season, their 27th J1 League season and 37th overall in the Japanese top flight. Nagoya Grampus finished the season in Third Position, qualifying for the Play-off Round of the 2021 AFC Champions League. Due to finishing third, Nagoya Grampus did not qualify for the re-formatted 2020 Emperor's Cup, which if a J1 team were to win would put Nagoya Grampus directly into the AFC Champions League Group Stage.
