The Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament decides the conference baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Southwestern Athletic Conference. The top four finishers in each conference division participate in a two-bracket, double-elimination tournament, most recently played at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama, between May 19 and May 23, 2021. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament and, since 2019, to the HBCU World Series.

2014 Texas Southern Lady Tigers softball team

The 2014 Texas Southern Lady Tigers softball team represented Texas Southern University in the 2014 NCAA Division I softball season. Worley Barker entered the year as head coach of the Lady Tigers for a 9th consecutive season. The Lady Tigers were picked to first in the West Division of the pre-season conference polls. The Lady Tigers would do so and go on to win the SWAC's automatic berth in the 2014 NCAA Softball Championships. After going 0-2 in the Lafayette Regional, the Lady Tigers finished the season 31-20.

The 2015 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Softball tournament will be held at Wilson Morgan Park in Decatur, Alabama from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner will earn the Southwestern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will have stats available, with many teams having a radio broadcast available. The championship game is the only game that will be televised. It will be done on ESPN3.

The 64 NCAA Division I college softball teams were to be selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 15, 2016. Thirty-two teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conference, and thirty-two teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I softball selection committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2016 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City in which the Oklahoma Sooners were crowned the champions.

2017 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament

The 2017 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament was held from May 18 through June 7, 2017 as the final part of the 2017 NCAA Division I softball season. The 64 participating NCAA Division I college softball teams were selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 14, 2017. Thirty-two teams were awarded automatic bids as champions of their conferences, and the remaining 32 were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I softball selection committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2017 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma would repeat as National Champions, defeating Florida in 2 games and 17 innings in the first game. Oklahoma became the lowest seeded team to ever win the National Championship, winning as the 10 seed.

2019 NCAA Division I softball season College softball in the United States

The 2019 NCAA Division I Softball season, play of college softball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began February 7, 2019. The season will progress through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and will conclude with the 2019 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament and 2019 Women's College World Series. The Women's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament will be held annually in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, will end in June 2019.

The season ended on March 12, 2020, when the NCAA cancelled all winter championships and spring sports seasons due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament and 2020 Women's College World Series, which were to be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, did not occur.

The 2017 Southland Conference tournament was held at Farris Field on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas from May 10 through May 12, 2017. The tournament winner, the McNeese State Cowgirls, earned the Southland Conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament.
