The 2021 Tour of Romania was a six-day cycling stage race that took place in Romania in August and September 2021. The race was the 54th edition of the Tour of Romania. The tour was rated as a 2.1 event, as part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour.
Jakub Kaczmarek became the second Polish rider to win the Tour of Romania after Daniel Zigmund in 1935.

The Tour of Romania is a cycling competition held in Romania. It is organised as 2.1 race on the UCI Europe Tour. The tour is organized by the Romanian Cycling Federation.
Radu Dărăban is a Romanian fencer. In the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the Men's foil, but was defeated in the second round.
Ciprian Gălățanu is a Romanian sabre fencer, team silver medallist in the 2013 World Fencing Championships.
Serghei Țvetcov is a Moldovan-born Romanian racing cyclist, who rides for the Denver Disruptors. He rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships, where he competed in both the road race and the individual time trial.

Vocea României Junior was the Romanian version of The Voice Kids created by the executive producer of Fear Factor and creator of Star Academy, John de Mol. Vocea României Junior began airing on 26 February 2017 on Pro TV and Pro TV Chișinău. Based on the original The Voice of Holland, the concept of the series was to find new singing talent contested by aspiring singers with the age limit being 7–14 years old, drawn from public auditions. The winner was determined by public and he was entitled to a €50,000 prize. The first season was won by Maia Mălăncuș, and the second season by Maya Ciosa.

Irina Rimes and Tudor Chirilă returned as coaches, while Denis 'The Motans' replaced Horia Brenciu. Smiley was joined by Theo Rose, for the first time in the history of the contest there being a double-coached team. Meanwhile, Pavel Bartoș returned for his tenth season as host. Iulia Pârlea acted as the green room host during the live shows.
